Oh wow.  I really like the gloss now that we're seeing some better pics.  That 3w will be going in the bag.  I knew it would only take one good picture of it to solidify that hahaha.  His driver almost appears to be that version 2 that was a slightly different shape.

it looks better.

Driver looks so good with the new finish. Fairway has me so intrigued. I use the Rocket now and love it but the thought of being able to set 50g weight just a touch back has me excited as ever to try a fairway.

Two things I see.  First, the shape is different.  Maybe a touch longer heel to toe.  Little more compact front to back.  Second, I always had this feeling that the OG Stealth+ 3w sat a bit closed.  Or at least my brain was not capable of holding it square lol.  This immediately looks more neutral to me.

Yes, I am a head case.  But, this is what I mean.

everything looks cleaner and more refined. Cant be made at that. I like that you cannot see the carbon weave. i think it looks really clean.

Wow, 34g of adjustable weight on that head. That is pretty significant and I wonder if that is stock or he has something heavier in there.

Also, driver has 34 grams of discretionary weight between the front and rear weights.  That is a ton.  Should really be able to dial in spin.  Make it a low spin bomber or a super stable.

Since getting a mevo+ I've noticed my spin is higher than I like...2500-2700 at 10-11 launch. I'd really like to get launch up and lower spin to 2200-2500. I have been testing ventus black (currently use blue) so I'm wondering if a 10.5 head with a ventus black will give me another 7-10 yards just on better launch conditions. So now I think I'll test the new driver to see what it does.

My OG Stealth has been collecting dust as I went back to OG SIM Max.  Hoping the Stealth + 2 gets some good reviews as I always like shiny new things 😁

That's a ton of weight to move around. I have the Rogue st ls and I swapped the 6g front weight with a 3g weight and slapped lewd tape on the rear of the head. Just that little bit of play made a slight difference. So 50g is going to be significant.

So at the risk of sounding like this....

Always Sunny Fx GIF

I want any of the "it's just another repackaged version of _______" detractors to consider what having THIS much weight on the bottom of the head actually means.

It takes around 10-15g moved from one side of the head to the other (either front/back or left/right) to make a meaningful difference in CG from a performance standpoint. Until now we've had roughly a range 9g-27g across all major manufacturers in terms of discretionary weight, and that heavier range has historically represented less overall adjustment range. PING has done fantastic in this regard with their giant rear weights, but no ability to swap weight forward/back without hotmelt. The SIM2 was similar, but far less adjustable since the heavy back weight couldn't move and the front weight was fixed as well. Everyone else has been somewhat behind IMO.

Now if Stealth2 has THIS MUCH weight to play with without the aforementioned limitations, the ability to tweak performance is going to be industry leading by a decent margin. And by that I mean from a CG and MOI perspective this one driver will be able to span the range of SLDR -> G400 MAX just by messing with these weights alone. That hasn't been before, and that is significant in ways that should be appreciated.

Oh, that amount of weight is huge.  That's a massive story.  OEM's can continue to try and come up with new tech to increase speed by the tiniest fraction while remaining legal.  They can try to expand the sweet spot (where I think is almost the last place for new tech to really help).  But, you don't see this amount of weight being moveable in any other club.

The possibilities for it are massive.  The amount of dialing in gear heads like us can accomplish is pretty exciting to be honest.  And in the case of the driver, it's not even just front/back.  You can still throw a bit of weight towards the toe/heel if that's your strike pattern.

These pics look really good, love the shaping.  Can’t wait to get the low down from TM next week!

The Shape of the drive & especially the face is WAY more symmetrical than the OG Stealth.  Face looks shorter heel to toe & Deeper which is a W for me.   It looks really good in those photo's.  I wonder if that one is a V2?
The fairway i could go either way with, but I still can't find anything I hit better than my M5....

Hard to really compare the two because the new Stealth is being held in the air and not soled on the ground. That can change things a lot. Then again, I'm an eternal 3 wood pessimist who feels like every 3 wood ever made sits closed.
