The Mav McNealy thing was rather short too.

Thought the same thing ... but didn't have @ChronicSlicer's panache/comedic timing to pull it off! 🥁

@Golf Dino Was the double-entendre = intended?

e.g. you set it up, hoping for @ChronicSlicer to oblige with the response?

What a difficult travel schedule

The video = a good illustration of the difficult travel schedule for LPGA pros this year. Thanks @Holy Moses for sharing.

Given the professional-looking graphics ... am wondering if it's an official LPGA video? (<== Nope ... i think Claire Rogers DIY'd it!! Refer to the PGA comparison shown below.)

Timestamp ~20s ... the Cognizant Founders Cup (New Jersey)

... followed by the Bank of Hope Matchplay (Shadow Creek, Nevada)

... then back to Jersey for the Mizuho Americas Open

= the most egregious example of the extensive travel for the top players, that might've been ameliorated with better scheduling?

(albeit IIRC the back-and-forth travel for the Matchplay at Shadow Creek = has been a known issue, from previous years?)

➡️..IMO... Swapping the dates for Matchplay (to be after Hanwha in SF) and Cognizant Founders = would significantly reduce the amount of travel? Then voila! 3 back-to-back events in NewJersey?

..p/s: Claire Rogers also designed a comparison video, to show the PGA 2023 schedule.

Beyond the time in a plane, that amount if travel is so expensive. Some Asian tournaments pay for player travel?

Yes i've heard that the Asian swing (IIRC someone else referred to it as the "IMG swing"?) have arrangements to cover player air travel / no-cut tournaments etc ... can't remember if involves chartered aircraft or not.

The commissioner was not aware of the situation. Molly needs to go. Anyone can put their foot in their mouth, anyone can make a mistake but she’s treading dangerously close.

No, I cannot tell a lie - it was unintended.  It was @ChronicSlicer that put it altogether!

I am sure I was almost called crazy on a few occasions for stating there was a 1 in 4 rule.

The rule should be 1 in 3 for new tournaments especially if the initial commitment of the tournament is three years.

The asian events all cover the airfare and hotels for the players that make into those weeks. Mostly every event has an airline partner that arranges the travel for each event, and to the next one.

The players while getting a free business class flight usually get screwed out of elite credit for their airlines based on the way the airline sponsor books the flight internally.

Lol. I would gladly exchange a free business class international flight for a few miles. YMMV.

I think this situation was overblown and didn't need reporting. This wasn't no water in oppressive heat or NCAA women's golf inequality. Beth Ann seemed find the two players bothered by this. Nelly, Ally Ewing, Annika and even the often outspoken Marina Alex think the focus should be on golf.

Has DK changed her apparel sponsor? Now in Descente. I don't think Descente makes golfwear that looks like sleepwear or something one would just pick out of a pile of laundry.

Danielle looks "better than usual" in this video with Andrea Lee

(notwithstanding Danielle's "batgirl with cape" on Day 2 of the Hilton GV TOC?

She was a household name amongst followers of the LPGA during her 25 years of playing on the Tour.  She has seen the evolution of the tour firsthand, from traveling around in a camperized Ford Econoline van, competing on the Legend's Tour, and becoming an author, writing a book on her special relationship with Ben Hogan.  Kris Tschetter is the feature in this podcast episode:

@Golf Dino thanks for sharing. i enjoyed this interview with Kris Tschetter; seemed like you had a good interview rapport with her.

..p/s: It took me a couple attempts to access that podcast via the Link you shared. (i think perhaps due to buffering/download?). Eventually accessed via Spotify.
