No shortage of UGLY here -

Ugly yes, but one of the better drivers I ever hit. 8 degree fade flat hosel and pro force 75x shaft. Hit that for 3-4 years and drove it fantastic.

Hit my longest drives and shot my lowest score with that turd.  Kept cracking faces, but living in AZ the turn around time for a replacement was only ~a week.  R.I.P.  ISI

Maybe.  But I'll never forget the time a retired co-worker who had never played anything but persimmon made a trip into the office to tell me that "this driver is something special."

Loudest one I ever had was Cobra 427 SS.  Went long and straight and was dubbed the 'beer can'

I used one of those for a while.  It was loud but I always liked the sound.

I once assembled a Golfsmith driver called a "Solid Tone."  Couldn't have been more than 190cc and said "Foamless" on the toe.  I used an Easton shaft that I had gotten from somewhere for free.  It was a carbon core with an aluminum outer shell.  This was in the 90s and the sound it made was obnoxious, especially for that day.  I took it to the range and actually drew a crowd due to all of the noise, and happened to be hitting it really well that day.  If I would have had a trunk full of them I could have sold them all.

It is not the loudest, but the Epic Flash Subzero was disappointingly loud.  It was a great driver but sounded horrible.  You would think all the tech that goes into a Callaway driver wouldn’t sound like a tin can getting kicked down the street.

This was the first driver that I had to modify because the sound drove me nuts. I stuffed some yarn in the head and it sorta helped, but MAN is that an awful sounding driver. Just an ugly, loud, high pitched CLANK. It embarrassed me at the driving range.

My vote for one of the worst offenders, and probably not one anyone on here has ever hit, is the Knuth Golf High Heat 257+.  Probably one of the best heads for higher handicaps but if your swing speed gets higher, bring some ear plugs.

Haha that is the one I have been trying to remember. Got to hit it a few years ago and while it was pretty darn long it was awful to the ears.

I lost my hearing in a tragic Nike Sumo Squared accident, so can't comment on any drivers released since then.

I still game the EFSZ and while it is louder than some, its not nearly in Cobra (Fspeed/L4V) territory. I guess its all what you're used too.

I actually take my old Fspeed to the range frequently.  It brings me back when my driver game gets out of whack. The weird thing is that 'out of whack' for me is a wild hook yet when I hit the F speed, it goes right even though the club is visibly draw biased and, in theory, should go even more left.  Funny game.

My personal driver is the r1s, that's probably the loudest of the ones I've played. Loudest would be the square drivers that others have mentioned. Oddly enough I've played with someone that had a knockoff version of the square drivers and it wasn't that loud. I guess it would help that she probably doesn't swing it fast enough to make it loud.

Agree…..have been gaming the TaylorMade R1 for many years.   It sounds like a cannon at the range!

Cobra L4V and Cleveland HiBore XL. I think the L4V was louder, but the HiBore really made like a screeching sound whenever you hit the ball.

Seems that with the square drivers mentioned before and the HiBore, the more irregular it is shaped, the worst it sounds.

This. My partner has this driver and I beg her not to hit it for the sake of everyone nearby.
