The TR Red they are giving at no upcharge is "NOT" a version wit Velocore unfortunately.  So that one is a "Made for shaft".

but what does velocore do for someone that has maybe 100mph club head speed and averages 95-97?  and how does velocore help an aggressive over the top, cut slice?

asking for a friend.

Well... tell your friend, Velocore is meant to help deliver the club better to the ball at impact by stabilizing the tip in the transition and impact. Diamana and ProjectX have their own versions of this.

https://fujikuragolf.com/technologies/velocore-technology

Take a look here where the TXG boys compare the stock non-Velocore vs the Velocore:

It's really up to you & your swing and frankly, how much money, that you want from getting a real Velocore Ventus.

Like everything else, go to a fitter or a shop and try the shafts.

Hope this helps

I played the original Stealth Plus from launch date to September 2022.  Last week, I was given a Stealth 2 Plus to test out.  Fitted with the same shaft I used in the original Stealth Plus.  Launch monitor data is showing really good ball speed retention with less than ideal hits.  Is it longer than the original?  Maybe.  I only hit a few longer than the original and my TSR2 on the launch monitor.  Was going to the range on Friday night after dinner, but a cold front came through and the temperature dropped and the wind picked up.  So delaying outside range sessions and a round or two when the weather gets warmer next week.

Looking to get my hands on the Stealth 2 Plus 3 Wood.  The Stealth Plus with the Tour AD DI was such a long combo.  Longer than some drivers that my friends played. I am thinking a Ventus Red Velocore this time out.

I got a chance to hit the Stealth 2 Plus yesterday. I've actually had a few in hand for a couple days now, but didn't want to hit them as they were destined for BST forum.

Overall on the driver, I think it's a nicer feeling and sounding driver than the original Stealth. I was not on a monitor but felt like I was getting pretty good distance out of the mishits (and if I know anything, it's mishits). It'll be interesting to see if anyone puts them through robot-swing testing with purposeful misses to verify what I was seeing. Did not appear to be any longer on center strikes than my current LTDx. So, overall, an incremental step, nothing revalatory for me.

I had purchased a couple of Stealth Plus’s last year (yeah I’m a ho lol) and I gave up on them quickly after seeing my mishits being punished so severely.  The Sim2 Plus was so much more forgiving and within 1-2 yards on center strikes.  Moved to the LTDx LS, then to the LTDx and finally to my TSR3.  Others had time in the rotation all year but the TSR3 was the one that stayed in the bag the longest.  I’ve always loved the TM drivers in the past but the move to the Stealth has turned me away from TM.  Hoping this years Stealth2 Plus changes my mind.

Did you happen to also test the TSR2?

Yes.  Had an 8* and 10* TSR2.  Very nice and easy to hit.  Should have kept the 8* for the AutoFlex but traded it for an 8* TSR3 but haven’t had the chance to test it out yet due to the weather.

TSR2- very easy to hit, launches nice, forgiving but in the 10* it spins just a bit more than the TRS3.  Really like it though.

curious if you tried the new Stealth 2 lineup compared to your Sim2 Plus? See any major differences?

Got my first look at the fairways today.  I'll admit that I am very sensitive about how the club appears at address.  But these things look 3 degrees closed.  I'm not sure how anyone could see it differently.  No way in the world I could play it, would be left of the world all day.

Find this very hard to believe as everything we saw at the Kingdom was incredibly neutral, even when you change the loft, and also even in the draw biased head.  Maybe you found a poor quality club

Haven’t tried anything new yet this year due to the weather and just recently a dog bite that has kept me down.

just did pick up a 2023 Aerojet LS tour head but wasn’t able to go out today and hit it yet.  I do want to try the Stealth 2 but again reviews I’ve seen haven’t shown much difference from the original Stealth.  As always, I’m certain I’ll pick one up sometime in the year as curiosity will win out as it usually does.  I usually purchased 6-8 new drivers every year.  Some for cosmetic changes, maybe hot melt or multiple versions (Callaway for example).  Heck I purchased 3 Stealth plus last year (original, one with hot melt and one because it was a different color) but never bagged any of them.  Had 3 Cobras last year (one had hot melt and then the LS and X) and Callaway I had 4. The  2 different triple diamonds (regular and tour version S), Rogue ST LS and Rogue ST Max.  Had 2 Mizuno ST Z 220’s (regular and Blue head).  I think I had a Honma as well.  😂

The only thing that worries me is how much mud or other stuff is going to get stuck when playing.  Especially under that weight track.  Love that they have so much weight you can move around but that’s also a lot of space for dirt, grass, maybe a small rock to get stuck under the track.

Weight can be removed to help clean the track.  But yeah, dirt and grass can get stuck in there and make removal for cleaning difficult.

I've also played the original Stealth+ since launch and I was able to hit the Stealth2+ and Stealth2 for about 30 minutes using my shaft.  Distance was slightly longer, sound was way better, but where it stood out was the spin.  I'm a high spin woods guy so when it was spitting out 1,900 - 2,100 rpm, I asked the Pro if the Trackman was calibrated and he said it was spot on.  I then hit my original Stealth+ and the spin went back up to 2,500 - 3,000 rpm's.

If I didn't have $600 in trade-in credit, I wouldn't bother but since I do, I'm going to give it a whirl.

I am thinking it has a ton more potential than that

I guess I am about to find out - pick mine up later this week

Sorry I gave my opinion. The weight just doesn’t change that much in my experience.

I said they’re really good, not sure what else to say there.
