I hope this is an indication that we’re gonna get a Golo style mallet in the upcoming release

A couple of years ago, every OEM is coming out with its "fang" putters, a.k.a. Odyssey #7 style. Now, it seems the wide blade has all the rages ...

It is, IMO. The Monoblok was the indicator as well. Just like the JT limited before the 5.5, H21 for the 7, Triple Black for the 9.5, etc.

It seemed like 7 style, then spider, then maybe wide blade but I haven't noticed it being a trend. I never could come around to the "wide blade" felt counter intuitive as I like to use the face/topline to square the putter to line. That's why I don't like flange lines.

It’s good you know what you need. Most of us just buy whatever OEM tells us is good for us.

I hope the wide blades are just a phase. So ugly imo.

If people buy them, they'll stay. I'm with you though - I don't care for them at all. I think he really nailed it with the Special Select NP & NP2 and I don't need another flatstick for a while now.
