Has anyone else noted that Titleist hybrids seem to play more Fairway Wood-ish than some others?

 

This isn't a knock, because they play well - but I've always had better luck by putting them a bit more forward in my stance and hitting them a bit shallower.

 

As a guy who likes more "iron-like" performance from my hybrids, it did take some getting used to.

 

But, I think it's a nice transitional club design in that respect - a nice bridge from woods to irons. Also, if you hit them well, they definitely work.

It is hard to resist the urge to plop down the money for the new TSR lineup!! From driver to fairway and now the hybrid these look amazing!

Titleist website is not showing Graphite Design options as the "premium" shaft option like it does with the drivers and fairways. Hope this is just an oversight. Would rather not have to pay full upcharge

i might have to play a hybrid for the 1st time in years if that TSR2 looks as good in person as it does on these photo's. Could be a good 2/3 iron replacement if the right shafts are available at launch.

I,m looking forward to trying these out. I already game the TSR3 driver. Be interested to see the numbers  on the 18 degree. I’d rather go with a versatile strong hybrid than a limited use driving iron.

Maybe it’s me but the TSR3 hybrid shape looks like the old G20 hybrid with less offset.

Obviously much much better looking just a similar shape. I did really like that G20 even if it looked like a swollen thumb. I hit it well.
