I never got to the point of rooting against him because I fear Golf Karma but I was close.

Homa strikes me more of loyalty guy than anything else.....He'll stick with the sponsors that was there when he made $18K total his first year on tour.

Totally fair and even a bit admirable. Still, if we're going to nitpick what people are wearing, looking like a hippie's car bumper isn't a classy look.

Zero weekend magic. Missed birdie putts. Some great par saves I guess. One approach in 2 days that was close enough for a kick in. Laid up on par 5s.

I think to win in this league with a legitimate field, you've got to at least have the potential to get hot. You don't give yourself a chance if you don't have the distance or risk matrix to go for any par 5s in two. Unless you can drain putts. I think we've seen some winners recently like Poston who make a lot of putts and that balances them out.

But the guys who win consistently attack the par 5s every time unless it's a bad tee ball (and they're longer players), and they miss their putts long and high not short and low.
