Nemesis shaft in Ping or other drivers

Been reading up on the Nemesis shaft and most say that it is the most counter balanced shaft out.  Seeing as where a lot of Ping shafts are CB. has anyone played one of these in a Ping or any other driver not as head heavy, and what where your results?

Haven’t tried the nemesys, can’t get one here off the shelf as far as I’ve looked.
I do have the Kuro Kage High Balance Point (HPB) 2nd gen, wood shaft in my fairways which is a counterbalanced shaft.   Excellent,  easier to swing, longer and more consistent. The specs look very similar to the Nemesys.  I’m in the process of putting another KK HBP in my Driver and looking forward to the test.
So there’s a data point, the KK shaft is only about $60 IIRC, from golfworks, but the website is down ATM.  Don’t know what the price of a Nemysys is.

I had one in a ping g410 and absolutely loved it. Very stable for my swing (92-95 chs). I preferred the heavier feel so I had it loaded with lead tape. I believe it was around D7 swing weight.

I never got around to trying it in a lighter head though.

What weight and flex.  That’s about where I am these days with SS?

I had a Nemesys 65-05 (x) in a TSi3 for a while.  It is very counterbalanced, had to add +6 gram weight to get the swingweight back to what I am used to (D6 or so)

Its a good shaft.  very stable butt, and stiff tip that helped the head resist twisting on off-center strikes.  The profile looks like a soft(ish) mid, but I didnt find it too loose.  Perhaps its because i was playing their version of X.

From what I've read, the Nemesys is meant for Ping drivers that tend to be on the heavier side.  Or where you want to play a longer shaft.

I also have a HZRDUS Smoke Yellow 65 6.5 in the garage (so weight and stiffness are comparable).  It feels very similar to the Nemesys.

i currently play the Nemesys in a 9deg 430 LST and it's awesome, great launch and numbers.  Feel wise it felt a little loose at first but totally different setup from my 10.5deg 425 LST with Oban devotion 7X.  might add a couple grams of hotmelt to tweak the swingweight but it's so much easier to get around and the sound is such an improvement.  Also haven't played a 9deg driver in 30yrs.

I have Nemesys regular 65 on a Callaway Rogue St Max driver and 5 wood.  The 5 wood I lace pretty consistently, but the driver I have trouble with.  It's not the shaft in this case, I just don't feel like I have any control with a 460cc head no matter the OEM.
And so.....I bought a TM Brnr MINI driver, and ordered another Nemesys shaft for it.  It's not here yet, so we'll see.  I do hit the MINI a lot better than the Rogue, so I'm hopeful.

When I was fit for the driver and 5 wood, Club Champion did tell me I do need a counter balanced shaft, and they did also tell me the Nemesys is the most cb shaft on the market.

Subjectively, I do love the look of the Nemesys.  Pretty cool graphics.

Interested to hear your feedback. I just picked up a mini driver and am planning to put a Ventus red it in.
Curious as to what/why club champion said you needed a CB shaft though?

The CB shaft recommendation was based solely on the Foresight data from my swings in the fitting.  Also, I DO use Winn DryTech 2.0 Oversized grips on my clubs.....big hands.  And so, the Nemesys in particular has a stiff butt section, but also handles the weight of those grips.

@zstokes makes sense. Don’t mean to derail your thread but did CC add any additional weight to the head during your fitting? I ask because I like midsize grips too so I brought up the idea of CB shafts, which we did try, but without adding any additional weight so the SW felt off.

No additional weight that I'm aware of.  The driver has a weight plate on the back that can be swapped out, but it still has the stock weight.  I'm not even sure how many grams it is, to be honest.
