Swing video advice—Losing angles

Feel like I’m not getting enough shaft lean at impact, losing angles and all out of sorts. Arc seems to be getting very wide at the bottom when compared to better players .Open to suggestions and feedback. Both 9i for reference , taken on different days but probably same moves for each

Left shoulder releasing off the chin late making arms late in the sequence and you're forced to lose angles to hit the ball.

@MonteScheinblumI have had a handful of online lessons with you the last 12 - 24 months and you continue to highlight the same issue in my swing as you have done above. Is this one of the hardest patterns to change ? Is there any secret to it haha..

Upper problems are often caused by lower problems, do this drill a lot, have a beer, then do some more. This will allow a later shift of the base of rotation forward and closer to the strike, and by doing so will go a long way in starting to get your upper and lower better synced from the top.

You're creating slack and as a result your swing becomes one big sweep dissipating the energy instead of directing the energy in the clubhead directly into the back of the ball.

Feet and legs swing the upper body, the upper body swings the shoulders, the shoulders swing the arms and the hands swing the club.

Feels dont work to make a change Have to actually change mechanics and then associate a feel(s)

See a good instructor In person, online. They will get you to actually make a change in mechanics to improve - monte offers online via facetime/zoom. Online via video exachange can work but like trying to do things via youtube videos,it is easy to think you are doing what is explained and a lot of time folks arent - so in exchanging video you want to follow up with video of you doing drills/new motion to confirm you are actually doing this correctly.

To get the most power you should be swinging the club with your whole body from the ground up. Instead of using your feet and legs to create momentum you're locking your feet to the ground.

Tense muscles are speed killers so make sure your shoulders, arms and hands which are conduits for energy flow to the clubhead are relaxed with minimal tension.

Patience is the key to acclimate yourself to the ground up motion especially if your mental image of the swing is casting, swinging the arms to create speed or any other extraneous movements.
