That should have been disclosed IMO.  And I'd be concerned about what is going on around the adapter.  I'd ask for a refund and return if it were me.

You misunderstood. Hit a few times meant it was hit a few times with a bag of gravel. That looks terrible. No pics in the original ad?

That’s absolutely unsatisfactory. 
Should read “Lightly used TM stealth , new unused headcover but it did fall off the cart 6 times” smh

If the photos in the ad did not depict the damage, I’d be upset based on the seller’s description versus the actual condition. 
Maybe invite the seller to this conversation to explain?

Photos from the ad once I asked for a refund in the driver he has gone silent. I will give him a few hours to reply before invite to conversation. It could have been a mistake. But when he promised to ship by Monday then was called out of town and his assistant was so post to ship on Monday but never did.  Then got home Wednesday and shipped.  I know crap happen but seem fishy imo.

Morning everyone. Link to the original ad is below. I’m the seller and have done many great deals here. Always quality stuff. All of my BST ads start the same way. “Pictures tell the story”.  Never trying to mislead anyone.
 

I personally hit this driver 3-4x indoors. It was bought to try the shaft, a Diamana ZF 50TX which is a $250 upgrade from Taylormade, in my Stealth+ head. Shaft didn’t work, on BST it went. Truly never paid any mind to the overall condition of the head as I never planned to play it, plus the crown and face were in great shape.

 

Nonetheless, the photos I quickly snapped before throwing this on BST, did not depict the full sole. This was not on purpose. Just an 

 

The deal was for the CX-01 in the ad plus the driver for $850. Pretty great deal considering the cost of the CX-01 and the Stability Tour2 shaft in it.

 

What say you all about the appropriate refund amount?
 

Will certainly be handling this appropriately with the OP.

OP just read your response, good on you for owning it. If it were me I would just take it back for a full refund and then re-list it with an accurate description.

Despite the sellers comment below this hits all the points of a bad deal: poor pics that avoid the problem areas, bought it, hit but didn't really look at it, suddenly had to go out of town so shipping was late. If I were you I'd go with the PP not as described refund process and leave appropriate feedback (which to me is a negative).

Much respect for coming into the thread and owning up to it. As someone who has done tons of deals, you know that taking pictures of the "areas of interest" is the most important thing. If you missed them, that's also on you as the seller, since in this case the pictures do not, in fact, tell the story. As it was listed, it comes across like the sore spots were intentionally "hidden" from clear view (even if that wasn't the intent.) 

 

As for how to move forward, you and the OP will have to work out a fair refund amount based on how much you think a club in this condition is worth. And if buyer wants to return the club, same thing applies and you just figure out the fair price for the other item and he ships this club back. If you can't come to an agreement on the price, others may be able to help but I am not an expert in that area. 

 

Good luck to both of you. You both seem like reasonable people, which is ultra rare in these instances. 

 

EDIT: Please see the remaining thread below. Apparently the seller is not, in fact, reasonable. Despite his long history, I would hesitate to do business with him given the many other options out there.

I hate when sellers try to justify selling something clearly damaged like this by saying “pretty good deal considering”, especially since it’s not even the same item the buyer is upset about. Doesn’t matter how good of a deal it is when that’s the condition. I just have a very hard time believing that you bought said club AND then took pictures to sell it without seeing that damage…

Update 

got a label from seller and was delivered yesterday . Then he went silent  so I open a PayPal dispute. Just my 2 cent I would never deal with him again.
