Which OEM has the best adjustable hosel?

I thought this would be an interesting topic on who has the “best” or your favorite adjustable wood hosel out there? 
 

I know a lot of their end goal is the same but they all have their own uniqueness… so which do you like and why?

Like taylormade woods but don't like that there's isn't a flat setting.  Am really liking the Titleist sleeve at the moment flat and little open sits well for me

100% agree with the previous post about the Titleist adapter. I like it for the same reason - it has a flat setting and it doesn’t change the fact angle. 
 

if we go just based on looks I like how simple and small the ping adapter is.

For me it’s titleist. I can change my loft and lie independently. As someone that is low spin with a natural draw, I want to raise the loft without closing the face on most woods.

 

Taylormade has the most settings but the loft and lie are tied together. That’s no use to me.

Callaway. Dual independent cogs, shaft/grip orientation doesn’t rotate.

Golf is often about what looks good to my eye.  So Ping wins. The Callaway and titliest allows a different way to adjust just the loft or just the lie but they look clunky to me.  

 

Could probably talk my way into to liking them a bit. The hosel has to be a bit heavier than Taylor’s or pings designs but then again many irons and things have hosel weights and toe wieghts as far from the sweet spot as possible to stabilize the head.   Kinda like a tightrope walker has a long pole to help stabilize him.  Talking myself into a titliest, nah, but I could

I like both the sleekness and simplicity of the PING hosel.

Going with titleist for the independence of loft/lie mentioned above.  Ping second to that because they have flat settings and they are easy to remember when they accidentally put in a right hand adapter.

Seems to be plenty of confusion here on the adapters. No adapter allows for "independent" adjustments of loft and lie. They are always connected, even with Titleist. The Titleist adapter just allows for smaller changes but they are still connected.

The Ping adapter with a flat setting is the same lie angle as a TM or Mizuno set in the standard setting. Ping and PXG just starts out with factory neutral in the most upright setting while some others set factory standard at the lowest lie. The end result is the same give or take .5 degrees depending on brand.

I’ll go with Titleist for a different reason, they haven’t changed the adapter since the initial 910 series (drivers) or 913 series (fairway) so all my shafts are usable regardless of model.  While my Riptide MX is new, I have a Phenom from a 913 I still can use in my TSi.  And it allows all the adjustments I need.

Not sure what’s the best (Titleist probably followed by Callaway and then Ping) but TM is certainly The worst. Can’t adjust anything without changing the face angle up to 3* either way is crazy to me.

As others have said - The most flexible in terms of loft/lie, and hasn't changed in 12 years because it doesn't need to. Somehow they got it right from the start.

Callaway, and it’s not even close.  You don’t need a new grip for every adjustment.

Yes, And the orientation of the shaft doesn’t change when you change settings.  Important if you care about pureing  or FLO.

That's right.  Their hosel hasn't changed since the 910 series.  Try putting in a shaft from a TM R9 into a Stealth.

Titleist with the most configurations at the expense of a little bulbous hosel, it’s actually kinda overkill

 

I have grown fond on Ping and its simplicity 

 

Cally is the absolute worst as it is not intuitive 

 

Cobra second worst bc all configurations look exactly the same at address

I like Titleist for flexibility, Callaway because the grip stays in same orientation but I play Srixon. And their latest is actually pretty darn good.

 

I won’t pass up a club I want due to the adapter. So there is that.

I think Titleist offers the “best” or seemingly the most choices in adjustment. But , I think Ping is best because it offers adjustment and it’s small. I’ve heard weight up in the hosel is undesirable so it seems Ping has a good approach.

Use a 360 grip. That argument is gone. Titleist for longevity and fairly simple. Ping g410 and newer the flat lie worked for me with 22 hybrid 4 uphill  no curve shots no hook or fade.. just my happy feedback.

Callaway…like others have said, shaft and grip orientation doesn’t change. Seeing the shaft’s graphics is distracting. Over time I would probably just get used to it though.

Driver hasn't changed. 913 they revised the fairway not sure if hybrid changed I know it's the same length as the updated fairway.

I do not have a lot of experience with other manufacturers, but Titleist works really well.

Callaway no doubt. Doesn't rotate the shaft.The grip and shaft graphics don't change with every adjustment.

Big fan of the cobra adapter. Very slim profile and backwards compatible a pretty long way now, makes testing heads out a lot easier

I’ll caveat this by saying I’m not too familiar with the Callaway adapter. Some points others have made do sound appealing, though.

 

For me, it’s Ping, closely followed by Titleist. 
 

Ping is so simple. And the “-1 flat” setting always seems to make their products sit perfectly and play super neutral for me. 
 

I like Titleist a lot too, but Ping has an advantage in being smaller, simpler, and being able to deloft clubs twice as much (up to 1.5 vs. 0.75) as Titleist. That said, Titleist’s SureFit is great as well, and these are tiny complaints.

For aftermarket shafts, I purchased sleeves to fit Titleist though an eBay vendor, cost $20-30 ea.  No doubt from China, but well-made never had a failure.  Titleist sleeves have never failed, either.  Titleist sleeves adjust loft or lie, NOT face angle.  Odd, concern, but I never had an issue with shaft rotation, because I never look at the shaft, only the head.

Well the easy answer is the one that’s on the driver that fits you the best. There are a few that have advantages over others. Titleist and Callaway are unique is being dual cog that allow for individual adjustment for loft and lie. Ping is very good because it’s the lightest and has the most narrow profile. They all work very well, but in the end it’s personal preference and depends on each persons performance.

Titleist sleeves absolutely adjust face angle.  There's a version of the SureFit chart that show the face angle changes in a column on the right.
