Should I sell my MGI Zip X1 now that I've gone minimalist?

I know it's up to me, but this is a 'what would you do' question. I bought an MGI Zip X1 cart in Feb. of 2022 and immediately loved it. Used it frequently up until about October, when I got frustrated with the game and decided to try 'minimalist' golf, so I bought a very light carry bag and pared my set down to 7 total clubs. Well, I'm loving the minimalist golf even more than I was loving the electric cart, and can't see myself ever going back to a full set. For reference, I'm 62 and only play recreationally, and won't be joining any tours any time soon. I've found that carrying a light bag is the most convenient way to play, and it also makes it really easy to load and unload equipment. So now the Zip mostly just sits in the garage. The only time I could really see wanting to use it is perhaps on a very hot day when I want to carry an umbrella, but I do have sun-hats and that doesn't happen all that frequently anyway.

Obviously I can't predict the future, but I'm in pretty decent shape and should be able to walk and carry for a good number of years yet, and if I do ever decide to go back to a cart, technology will likely have improved them by then. I figure since the cart now sells for about $700 new, I could get $400 for it if I sell now. So what would you do, sell it and take the chance that you weren't going to want the convenience for a while yet, or hold on to it just in case you decide you might change your mind about it? I'm leaning toward selling.

You might change your mind, and go back to a full set. Also, the hot summer weather is coming. I’d hang on to it for awhile.

I would keep it as you said you really like it. You run the risk that newer versions will be improved in ways you don't like.

You might study up on battery upkeep. Whether it should be kept fully charged or not while not using it?

If you will not be using the battery for more than a month, fully charge the unit, remove from charging & store in a warm, dry location. Attempt to use the battery every 1 – 3 months either by lending to a friend or family member for a round or removing the wheels & running the unit in a stationary position for half an hour. Place it back on charge till fully charged & store again.

Since it's technology and technology depreciates quicker, I'd get rid of it now. If you decide to go back to a full bag and a electric trolley, there might be newer technology then that you'd want to take advantage of.

That was part of my thought process as well. I doubt I'll ever go back to a full bag, but there could be a point where the cart would come in very handy. But hopefully that's well down the road.
