Other than Moe Norman, who else has made 25/27 cuts in 27 starts?

Yeah, heard that. Have yet to understand why I need to be impressed.

And I'm not deliberately trying to be a "Richard" or anything. It's a legitimate point of curiosity for me.

But, perhaps a matter of taste? - which of course can't be arbitrated.

Hi, recommend this book.  He’s quite a legend for his ball striking prowess.

Right on man. I mean, I'm always happy to be educated. I enjoy reading.

But, I've got two books that I've got to get through currently. I'm trying to finish Thomas Piketty's "Capital in the 21st Century" then on to "The Boys in the Boat" about the 1936 US Olympic Rowing Team (as recommended by my 5th grade daughter) - but maybe this will be next. I feel like I need something from left field these days. Appreciate the suggestion.

Perhaps this book will help to answer some of my questions.

When it comes to Moe, I feel like I've done my due diligence. My father-in-law actually utilizes the Moe Norman swing. When I saw him swinging a club, I was dumbfounded. I had to figure out where that came from. Happens that both Moe and my father-in-law found the same thing. That's how I learned about Moe Norman.

So, it's not like I'm completely uninformed or anything. But, Moe is - obviously - much more skilled at it than my father-in-law (who truly sucks at golf, god love him).

My questions are, as always, if Moe had something that was relevant to others, and he was such a master of his craft, and his approach works...

Why have so few ever adopted his approach?

Why was he ultimately unsuccessful on the pro tours?

Is he some misunderstood genius, or just some guy who figured out his own way to be pretty good at golf?

If the former, then yeah, I get the hype.

If the latter, well then, I run into dudes like that at the course pretty much every weekend.

You all can take Tiger’s cut streak; I’ll take his 4 majors in a row without hesitation any day.

Tiger also won the TPC during that run.  Never going to happen again.  4.5 majors in a row.

If you want to read something from left field check out the Tim Dorsey series of books. Hilarious and quite dark but strangely accurate Florida humor

"Have yet to understand why I need to be impressed."

Different people are impressed by different things. Nothing wrong with that.

Of course, someone once said, "Everyone is different, which makes everyone the same". Or something like that, lol.

"The Boys In The Boat" is a great read!

Since the thread started as a made cut to start their career thread, I know a guy who made the cut in his first and only PGA Tour start, a t44 (with Webb Simpson, among others) at the 2010 Frys.com Open

https://www.pgatour.com/players/player.33464.danny-wax.html )

Are there any other players to have made 100% of their cuts on the PGA Tour?
