New irons for 2023 - Srixon ZX5, ZX7, RTX Tour Rack

Hello all. I had been playing the same clubs for several years - TM M1 driver, TM R15 3w and 5w, Bridgestone J40 CBs 4i-PW, Bridgestone J40 54* and 60* wedges, and Black Lab putter. Last year I decide to get a new driver and woods. I got fitted into a new driver and woods. I also bought new Vokey wedges (SM8s and SM9s). This year I decide to replace my irons and I wasn't in-love with the wedges, so I got new wedges too 😄. My new bag for 2023 is:

Titleist TSi2 10* w/ Tensei Blue S

Titleist TSi2 4w and 7w w/ Tensei Blue S

Srixon ZX5 4i - 6i Modus 120S

Srixon ZX7 7i - PW Modus 120S (bent 1 degree strong)

Cleveland RTX Tour Rack 50-mid, 54-mid (bent to 55), 60-low

Odysset TriHot 5K double wide putter

 

Irons are the 2022 model - I did not look at/hit the MKII models as I was able to buy the MKI model on a major sale. Possible updates may include getting a new 3w and possibly a Srixon 3i Utility iron as the ZX5 4i is so easy to hit

Great bag!  Absolutely love the Zipcore wedges.  Best I’ve played in a while.  Hard to go wrong with srixon irons as well.

I was amazed at how awesome the Zipcore wedges performed. I can't wait to hit them more this summer.

Thanks for asking. I LOVE THEM and do not regret buying them.

I played 14 holes on on Sunday and it was super windy. My timing was a bit off, but for the most part, I felt the irons were pretty easy to hit. I am one of those players that I either put a good swing on it, or a bad swing - like fat, topped, shank, etc. I went thru the bag and hit some great shots will all of the irons. My biggest issue was judging how much the cold impacted the golf ball. 

 

What has surprised me more than anything is the wedges. I cannot say enough great things about the RTX Tour Rack wedges. WOW = just WOW...

Thank you - I tried to make the gap 5* in the shorter irons so I cold grip down, normal, full up and have a few different yardages. Hope this works 🙂
