Can't disagree with the comments so far. Really solid bag. I'd go all i210's, but that's just me. I still don't trust the i230's. Only time will tell.

 

But, you can tell dude has money and ain't afraid to spend it on golf equipment.

 

Those two Bettis are probably equivalent to a month's salary for me.

 

And once again, I'll bring up Bettinardi milling. Seeing the FIT face all over the place - lots of different millings to compliment - but very few RCF models.

 

Would love it if someone can tell me why the RCF face isn't being utilized...

 

And I will admit that I'm an RCF user. Just feeling like I might be out of the loop here. Don't want to start feeling like my Betti is "inferior" in some way.

No doubt, and if he's as hooked as we are, everything is fitted for him and then some.  Given that...

 

I did have a few questions for you all after bag-gazing.  He seems to go S or 6.0 flex in everything...except the CK 90 Orange in the G425 3H, which is an X.  Why?  What does that do for him, with that club?  Similarly, the FlyHi 4---presumably because he wants a higher flight than an i210 or i525 4-iron---is paired with a HZRDUS Black, which is a fairly lo/lo shaft, I'd thought.

 

Just seemed strange, but again, he has the resources to ensure these work for him.  Nifty G430 LST [drool...]

Yeah man, it's interesting.

 

I am never going to present myself as an authority on any of these subjects - many folks around here know a ton more than I do. I learn something new everyday.

 

But having said that, I personally play a wide variety of flexes throughout the bag. Ultimately we have to recognize that an "R" "S" or "X" is utterly arbitrary and largely meaningless when it comes to comparing shafts between different manufacturers, and even between individual lines produced by the same manufacturer.

 

So, we are all kind of grasping as straws and finding out what works for us.

 

I happen to love heavy X shafts in hybrids and FWs. 

 

I like lighter "S" flex in my driver.

 

I've also come to love the Modus 105 "R" flex in my irons.

 

Then, I go back to heavier and stiffer in my wedges. Perhaps I'm weird and totally off base - but mixing shafts and flexes like this has been born of necessity (beggers can't be choosers) and something I've grown very comfortable with over the years.

I could be VERY wrong but i’m gonna go out on a limb (assuming your correct and that the FIT face is indeed dominating the Tour bettis) and guess that RCF will be the go-to for retail putters (Inovai and Studio Stock), while the FIT will remain the goto for Tour/Hive Betti’s. Couldn’t tell u why, except maybe marketing. I haven’t compared FIT with RCF, but maybe the FIT simply feels much superior and is the preferred option by most on Tour (even though RCF sounds better on paper)

 

I kinda agree though - I haven’t seen a ton of RCF’s lately compared to FIT face in the Hive, but i personally can’t distinguish the two faces just from these witb pics. How can u tell whether this is FIT or RCF?
