Tour Arnold Palmer's personal 1960-61 Wilson Staff Model Dyna-Powered irons (14 wins, including '60 Masters, '60 U.S. Open and '61 Open Championship)

The "Golf Links to the Past" shop at The Lodge at Pebble Beach currently owns Arnold Palmer's personal Wilson Staff Model Dyna-Powered irons (2-9 iron) that he used to win 14 times, including the 1960 Masters, the 1960 U.S. Open at Cherry Hills, and the 1961 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. The irons are available for $275,000. Golf Links to the Past obtained the irons through Joe Black, who's a former PGA Tour player, Rules Official, President of PGA America, and founder & director of Western Golf Properties (among many other roles in the golf industry throughout his career).

 

GolfWRX was lucky enough to get an in-person look at the irons, and take some in-hand photographs during the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Special thanks to Chris Little, the grandson of Lawson Little, who won the 1934 and 1935 U.S. Amateur and British Amateur Championships.

Tungsten or lead? Did they use tungsten back then for golf clubs?

I have a set of dynapowered irons from around the same time period.  yep, 9 iron is 47, pw 51.
