need help with shaft Identification

Hi guys, one of you smart people will be able to identify these steel shafts for me. Guy says reg flex but hasn't responded to make/model of shaft.Can only see a sliver of red on the shafts. The clubs are Ping G400 if that makes a difference.  Thanks in advance

Looks like modus for sure but no way of telling flex from this picture.  No color difference from flex to flex

Yeah he had lots of pics of the heads but only this one of the shafts. He's a reputable seller so I'm not worried if I pull the trigger. Just wanted to verify which shafts. I've played the Nippons before so it's looking good. Thanks again guys.

Long time modus 3 player and can't recommend enough.

Are you able to tell which version it is since there are different weights?

Not from that picture.  All the modus 3 shafts have the red oval with silver "modus" in middle, which is what im seeing in that picture

The distance to the first step can help. The Modus 120 have the longest distance to the first step and are pretty distinctive.

 

IIRC the 130 has the shortest first step distance.

I had a set of Modus shafts last year with most of the labels worn off. There was a code on the butt end with the flex on it, and distance to first step told me I had Modus 125X. Google helped me find that info.

If you can weigh the shaft, that will also help narrow it down.

You could post in the thread Ping serial number look up. Supply the serial number and they will be able to tell you the original specs. 

 

If the shafts haven't been changed out to the current shafts that should tell you. 

 

My guess would be Modus.
