Most forgiving driver?

I can pull numbers from the simulator with both drivers using the same shaft if you are interested. The difference isn’t as much as I expected. Both drivers spin more than others.

I played a tour 65 in the Max, which still couldn't keep launch/spin down, but I have tended to hit down 1-2* with the driver - trying to neutralize that more so this year. When demoing the 430 series, we found that either the 9* Max or the 10* LST with a high launching shaft gave me a happy medium.

Tour Exotics E723 will take the crown.  The C721 was the one that sold me on leaving Cobra and the other big name brands.

Play 2 different shafts: Project X LZ & HZRDUS BLACK.

Love to see tour edge being mentioned.  I bought a c721 for a silly deal recently.  Feels good, sounds good, and I believe its quite forgiving.  Its also low spin, which is great combination with the forgiveness.  Performs as well as anything else for me.

Funny how delivery can change so much - I have similar low launch, higher spin launch conditions and I found the opposite to give me the happy medium. I went with the higher lofted 10.5 degree Max and the low launch/spin Kai’Li white.

 

I thought the HZRDUS RDX Red would have been the one for me, but even in the 6.5 flex I felt like I had no control over the face and missed both ways.

G425 is so damn good. If you put a decent swing on it, its going where you want and the same distance plus or minus 5 yards. Hard to see something kicking it out of the bag.

 I played Cobra drivers since I started golfing 30 yrs ago. Cobra has made some great drivers over the years. The C721 is the first non Cobra driver that has stayed in my bag.  It has been the most forgiving driver I have ever played. I like it so much I am still playing it. If I was to get a new driver I know it would be another Tour Edge.
