Are there any wedges that have a significantly softer feel?

Currently game SM7s and SM5s and they are great but looking to try something else. 

Are there any wedges out there that feel much softer?

Without going too niche, I'd suggest try Mizuno T22 as they are forged.

Bridgestone wedges are often made using S20C steel, which is very soft. I have an Artisan wedge which I think is also S20C, and it's very soft.

A few years ago, I used a Fourteen RM12 lob wedge, and that was incredibly soft. 

 

This is my Bridgestone wedge. It's soft for sure, but scratches up easily.

T22s are honestly the softest I have ever played

 

They feel similar to the Kyoei irons that I have, which says a lot. I would assume Kyoei wedges are also soft, but have not played them

 

That being said, they are the worst feeling wedges if you miss the sweet spot.

I've played everything but the super niche stuff and I'm going to go wild card and recommend Ping Glides. The elastomer in the cavity makes middle hits feel really nice. Bonus is it's a tough more forgiving than pure blades such as T20/22, which I've also heard in the bag.

I have the Mizuno T22's and the Cleveland Zip Cores (original).  I used to play Calloway forged.

 

Cleveland Zipcores are the softest of the three and a lot softer feeling than the T22's.  It's a preference issue.  Mizuno is more of a "thunk" when you hit the ball - firm and crisp.  Cleveland are a softer feel similar to the Srixon Z 785s.

Mizuno T22 felt real soft to me.  The Mizzy forging process + copper underlay is what I gathered.  Very soft.  My issue was the grooves wore fairly quickly, maybe to be expected from softer forgings

Bit off the radar but I tried a friend's KZG wedge years ago and it was by far the softest feeling club I've ever used. Best way I can describe it is like hitting a marshmallow. It is my understanding that they are or used to be forged by Kyoei. Don't quote me on that.

I’ll give an annoying answer that the best way to get a soft feeling wedge is with a soft ball.  At the speed you swing a wedge differences are not that pronounced imho.  Others feel very differently but just putting it out there.

New Level SPN wedges.  Forged and buttery but that grind isn't for the faint of heart.  One of the best wedges I've ever played after some grind modifications in my shop.

I just moved from SM8s to Mizuno S23 wedges.  Softer by a mile.  Feel like a buttery Mizuno iron.

Sub70 wedges are forged and are soft and a great price I might add. Love mine.

Bump Mizuno. Add in Fourteen and the forged Pings. You could pick up some forged Vokey and Cleveland Japanese models off Rakuten or Ebay.

I love my PING Glide Forged 54 degree!

Much better feel than my ordinary Glide3.0 58 degree.

The raw faced Taylormade ones felt so much nicer than Vokey. As did the Mizuno T22. I went with the Mizuno as they span a lot more for me.

They all feel soft to me when they are struck well.  I have wedges laying all over my shop from Callaway, Ping, Vokey, and Cleveland.  I can't tell much of a difference in how they feel from each other.

 

You have to keep in mind that the shaft and grip have a lot to do with how a club feels as well.

 

I have a SM5 & SM7 in my bag right now, and I just recently changed out the Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips for Winn Dri-Tac's and they feel much softer at impact.

Pretty much any forged carbon steel wedge will feel nice. I just picked up some of the Cobra MIM wedges and they also feel nice and soft.

There really isn't a softer wedge.  They are phenomenal.  The 56* RJ grind is in my top 3 clubs I've ever owned.

Fellow Aussie! Actually been trying to find some of these but not having much luck, only see Golfbox stocking them, but their options are now very limited.

The miz t22 is ridiculous soft and informative. I just couldnt control it because of shaft and didnt seem to spin as much for me for whatever reason. The cleavland stuff feel pretty soft to me too.
