Wesley Bryan is an excellent example of how good the top PGA Tour players are. Wesley looks like a god on YouTube, dominates the other YouTube pros like they are 15 handicappers. On tour, Wesley is struggling to keep his card. These guys are absurdly good.

I'm always surprised to see how many Srixon driving irons we see in pro's bags.  I tried the SS ZU85 3/4 combo and the irons just seemed to set so closed for me for whatever reason.

Surprised to see him in a 50gram driver shaft and 60gram 3 wood shaft. If Wesley can get his driver a bit more dialed, he’s got a shot to play well on tour as his short game and iron play is damn good.

Does anyone know what superstroke model that putter grip is? Hard to tell even when zooming in.

50 x in the drive, and 60 tx in the 3 metal? Wonder if theyre tipped accordingly. He seems to be in the shaft rabbit hole, ventus blue, aldila tour green, now diamana gt 50x.

The amount of putts that need to be hit to creat a wear spot like that on a putter is mind boggling. I don’t buy a bunch of putters, but I don’t know if I could hit enough putts with the 2 that I don’t see going anywhere to create a spot like that. 
 

His and George’s YouTube page is quickly becoming my favorite page to watch golf on. The banter and the quality golf on the page is fun to see.

No, I am sure he just had a random guy pop it in with no testing.

I did a bit of google research and it seems to have been a limited release prototype grip released several years ago, I think he had it when he won Harbour Town in 2017

This is why I love to follow him. The Bryan Bros and how fast he won 3 KF tournies and then crickets….

Totally agreed!  I always root for George on the channel but for Wesley when its a tour event!

Take a look at the previous ZX model.  Less offset, thinner body and top line.  I tried the Zu85 as well (because Scottie and others play it) but it is quite different.  I haven't seen the new ZX yet but love my current ZX.

I always find it interesting when a guy has 14° of bounce on his 56°, then a 4° in the 60°.

I always saw the metal X milled cover in his bag. Just thought he might have liked the color of it. I didn’t know he actually gamed it. Very cool

It’s fairly standard for Tour player to have more bounce on their 56* sand wedge that is mostly used in the bunkers and low bounce on their 60* for use on the very tight lies in the fairways and around the greens.

I agree, but it's pretty rare to see it to this extent. Almost all golfers use slightly more bounce in their 56°, but not 10° more. His 56° and 60° are the extremes of both sides.

You would be surprised how many tour players go with the 14 F gring in the 56 and then to the low bounce T or K in the 60, it gives them options I suppose...

 

Also Wesley was 2 under early in his 1st round and looking good, then hit a couple of wide water balls and that was it...
