I think everyone caught up to his ballstriking.  He wasn’t a great putter then.  Hope he wins a major this year.

Disagree, he won most of his tournaments with Scotty or Nike putters. Putting stats are not a good comparison of players imo. It is overall or tee to green. Rory probably hits more par 5s in two then anybody and if he two putts on those for birdie still hurts his putting stats. Even 10 years ago when he won multiple tournaments and majors he still wasn't top 5 putting but was great from tee to green and made clutch putts. Tiger was on a whole other level probably 20 years ago give or take. If Rory had his putting I couldn't imagine how many wins he would have by now!

Reality is, he's actually better in approach this season so far (8th), a hair worse off the tee (3rd last season, 6th so far this season), and has plummeted in putting. A small sample sure, but something had to change. He's putting worse than JT this year!

Always thought the same.  Looks unnatural with it. But go back to his congressional open win and his stroke etc with the 009 is much better ( in my opinion). Course his driver and 3 woods swing off the tee looked better with titleist too.

the way some people offer rory advice on here, they probably think he’s gonna read your offer 😂😂

Why not put the alignment line on the topline of more off the rack putters? 
 

It just make more sense to me for improved putting.

I found it interesting that over a decade on from initial rory hype, he was *still* number 1 in driving distance last year. 
 

Rory has been ranked #1 in the world in the last month or so. He’s still elite in most areas of the game, there are some young guys who might drive the ball as well as him (Cam Young) or be better with short irons (Hovland and half the tour), but still as an all around player, he’s about unmatched aside from Rahm and Scheffler at the moment. I’d take his long game over anybody’s. I get what you’re saying about young players getting better but ultimately Rory doesn’t win more thanks to mental hang ups.

The membership on this site wants that topline sight alignment , myself included, but I’ve read (wish I could quote ) the general golfing public wants those flanged sight  lines

It's interesting - when he burst onto the scene and won the US Open and PGA, he was playing Titleist woods, irons, Vokey wedges, and Scotty blade putter. When he switched to Nike, he tried to help with input to create similar clubs and had some more success. Since switching to TM, he has won some season-long trophies, but has never appeared comfortable with his game. At the Hero, Rory switched to Vokey wedges and won the tournament. Now, he's going back to a Scotty putter he's familiar with. It'll be interesting to see how long he chooses to stick with TM, or if he chooses to switch to a different club manufacturer for his whole bag.

Tour Pros (Maybe Rory included?) are resisting a "Tour Only" ball but are willing to use a putter that clearly states "For Tour Use Only". What gives? LOL
