Is this replacing the 3 wood?

So he would be a 1 fairway wood guy?

looking at these specs and hearing hes going 44" with the driver, I wonder if hes going to drop the 3 wood and throw another wedge into the mix? maybe realizing he'd like to have more versatility at the bottom end of the bag vs top end?

He has a 15 degree down to a 13 as well in the blue tr shaft

Also looked like from Golf Channel coverage that he had a TR blue in the driver

Per Golf channel he was at 44.5 and went to 44.  There is a trend of shorter drivers on tour.  Lots well below 45 including Ben Griffin and Will Zalatoris.

No he has the Stealth 2+ in the 3 wood. TR Blue in Driver and 3 wood.

So have you found differences in the shaft profiles and overall stiffness between the TR Black between the different weights, I played the TR Black 8 X for a while in my 3 wood and found it to be super stout and about as anti left as any shaft I have ever played while I previously briefly tested the TR Black 6 X and found that to be significantly less stout and nowhere as near as anti left as the 8X so I would say it is much more similar to the OG Black 6 X although there were slight differences in feel.

Watched Trotties youtube vid today and he mentioned a lot of the guys on tour have had to loft up when going from Stealth to Stealth 2 as its so low spinning, most have gone up around 0.25-0.5* maybe that why Rors is struggling with it, or he wants to keep the lower loft to keep ball speed up guessing the TR blue helps with spin slightly, still weird he's struggled so much with it although he didnt hit his OG stealth great when he won in Dubai.

That’s interesting. I don’t find it lower spin than the stealth 1. Really about the same to slightly higher. Sim2’ish to sim 1 kinda deal.

I tried the TR in a 6x in my driver and it’s solid but more lively feel to it while being stout. I’m just convinced that you either love the og or love the tr and I’m the og love with my 6x/8x/10tx

Prior to his back issues, he was playing a driver right at 46.  I believe he's currently at either 44.25 or 44.5 presently.

Same here.  My Stealth 2 + spins more than my OG Stealth +.  More forgiving too.

Agree.  I had the OG in driver and loved it performance wise, but didn't like the feel.  The TR Black feels so much better/smoother to me.
