Interesting, I'm most intrigued by the Toulon putter, I haven't seen one without their signature diamond milling. But maybe it is a garage option that I missed?

If you looked at the face of the 60 only, you'd know that the player hits primarily open-faced flop shots. 

 

When you see that the player is John Daly, the hypothesis is confirmed. Not sure that guy has ever hit a 60 with a square face.

Saw John at Redhill a few weeks ago and he was limping around.  I hope his knees heal up soon.  Seems like a very nice guy as well.

I'm surprised that JD isn't going with the UB-6TX but merely just X.  Tells me age has caught up to him.  Naw, jk, the guy is still really long off the tee for his age.  He was my favorite tour pro back in the day.

All the extra weight he's carrying around isn't helping his knees but I wish him a speedy recovery.

Pretty sure the lines would be going the other direction from open face shots no? I don't know what would make marks going in the direction those are.

Theoretically maybe, but JD cuts across the ball a lot when he hits flops so this is what the markings look like.

There are a few guys that have a basic face milling like they do on a lot of small batch heads they release.

 

Funny enough before I saw the face was going to post how JD would tell people to use a putter with little to no face milling and he was using a Toulon which has like the most. But that face milling makes a bit more sense and probably the most he would use on a putter I assume.

Gotta love the “for your age” compliment. I learned the hard way to never use it w/a woman. I was in my 20s and told a lady @ the gym that she looked great for her age... Her look burned a hole through my soul! 😆
