Interlock to Overlap or Vise Versa

I've been an interlock player for years and just in the last few years I've noticed that my grip feels slightly uncomfortable so I may give an overlap a try. I've tried an overlap grip in the past but never swung or hit a ball with it. To me the overlap doesn't quite feel as stable so I'm hoping its just a matter of hitting balls and getting used to it. Anyone else change a grip in the offseason?

I've tried as I injured my hand directly due to interlock but I just can't get comfortable with it. I end up with pain in a different area. If I were to make a change at this point I might consider 10 finger but I've been doing alright with interlock of late after moving to a slightly larger grip OD.

I overlap just because interlock makes my pinky finger hurt eventually. I hit the ball fine with either grip.

I started golfing with interlock but switched to overlap because I tended to slide into a very weak grip with interlock. With overlap it is much easier for me to consistently get a strong grip (knuckle position, not grip pressure). However, it did hurt a little more at first when I made the switch. If i got the position wrong I would develop a hot spot on my lead hand index finger.

I learned to play with interlock and was accurate plus comfortable with it.

One day I had my right pinky finger almost ripped off in an accident. 

Even after healing up I couldn't interlock grip a golf club anymore.

Went with overlap and just took a few rds to get comfortable with it.

My son plays with interlock  but pitch and chips with the 10 finger grip, he is deadly from inside 100 yds with it.

IMO this isn't even an offseason change. I experimented with changing my grip (overlap, interlock, double interlock) just about every round in 2021 and scores were the same with all. Since then I interlock for comfort but will overlap sometimes if I have a sore pinky. As long as your hands are in the same orientation it is no biggie.

I went from overlap for all my life to interlock several years ago mid-season. Feels natural, won’t ever go back.

I was interlock for probably 30 years. Then a couple of years ago I decided to change because it was starting to hurt my hands. In the end it didn't matter any to my game, but my hands feel better. Heck, I once played 2 days after a table saw accident on my right index finger. 10 stiches later, and I wore a rain glove over it to keep everything "together". It stood straight out, couldn't bend it at the time. Didn't even affect my game, but I could feel every heartbeat in it.

Note, I did it mid season. Couple of buckets and it was fine. Now the putting grip change I made 10 years ago I did middle of winter and it took a couple of months to really get used to, but it change my entire setup/lie angle.

Went to a 10 finger grip a number of years ago.

Fits me and I'll never go back to overlap or interlock.

I went from interlock to ten finger this year and my performance is no better or worse, I just find it more comfortable.
