Costco Golf Glove

Recommended Posts

Just saw them in the store for first time today. They look like a great deal at around $22 for four gloves. But the fitting guide on back of the box seems odd. The "small" size looks like it would fit a hand traditionally larger than a small. Also the gloves inside the box look a bit smaller than their stated size of S, M, ML, L, or XL.

Does anyone have experience with this product. Do they run true to size? Is the fitting guide on back of box work?

You have to try them on to see if you like the fit. I have heard good things about the fit and bad. I tried them on myself and found the thumb to be too long for the size I needed to fit the rest of my hand. If you like the fit they are an excellent value. I haven't heard any complaints personally about durability. As with any glove you should try them on for fit.

I use them all the time.  Good quality.  The only negative I have is they seem to stretch out pretty quickly.  I'm a medium large and they fit nice and tight at first but tend to loosen up quicker than I'd like.

I've yet to find a better deal in golf gloves.  Less than $6 each and they are leather.

I do agree they stretch out quickly.  For me this is a good thing.  They are tight on the palms where I only velcro about 3/4 of the way, but after just 1 round, they fit perfectly.

I'm typically a cadet L/XL for most gloves and the finger length on the Kirkland L works well.  The only thing I would like changed is shorter pinkies, but I that's just my weird hand shape.

For the price it is a good deal. The glove does feel a little thicker than normal for me. Sizing as you said does run a size bigger. I typically wear large but i’m the costco brand, I wear the mediums.

My brother, wife and a couple of friends have worn them for several years and love them.

I just can't seem to find a size that fits properly though.

I'm a cadet medium large in the StaSof and really wish I could make the Kirkland work.

The leather seems to be top quality as is the case with most all Costco branded products.

One StaSof vs. FOUR Kirkland's is kind of a no brainer......

Not as inexpensive as Costco gloves, but gloves from MG Golf are pretty darn good. You can basically get three for the same price as the Costco gloves, so they are a lot less expensive than StaSof and many other brands. They wear well, are soft, always perfect fit, and I have also found that I can wash the MG gloves, and they don't get stiff once they dry.

Great gloves if they fit.  Zero cool factor…says the man rocking their putter.

I’ve used them for years. Every once in a while will have one that doesn’t quite fit as well as the others. M/L hand and just on occasion too tight. Never had one rip. Multiple rounds out of each glove even in summer humidity. Easily the best deal in gloves I’ve seen.

For the price they're solid a good glove to use if you're on the range a lot. Not really a fan of them in play but I'll use these as a beater glove.

I switched to them about 2 years ago.  They are quite a bit thicker than premium gloves but are also more durable.  The sizing is a bit off...  I wore M/L cadet in Titleist / Acushnet but a small in the Kirkland.  I like a snug fit... the Kirkland small is super tight but strecthes out within 9 holes.  It ends up being like a custom fit.

I love em.. wear a small with the expectation that it will stretch out. Have probably gone through bout 50 gloves in the last few years..but I hit a LOT of balls. If it was a different brand it would be many times the cost

These are pretty much the exact same glove as the Titleist Players.  I'm a size smaller in Costco than every other glove on the market.  Can't beat the price and if you are sized right they last just like any other glove.  If you aren't sure order a few sizes.  Costco will take anything back even if you've opened up the pack.

I agree they are a nice glove, especially for the price. However, I wouldn't say that they are similar to the Titleist Players. The leather is much thicker and less suple on the Kirkland gloves. Also, I found the sizing (within the 4 pack) and stitching to be inconsistent at times.

I love the Costco gloves. I would not consider them equal to Titleist leather gloves but still a premium glove nonetheless. They are quite a bit thicker but they still have a very nice feel.  If money was no object, then I think I would be using Titleist but for me, money is an object; therefore, I use Kirkland gloves which, to me, still have a premium feel. For the price, I don’t think they can be beat.

I concur with most, Costco gloves are a great deal.  They tend to run large though, so if you are size small in other manufacturers, you may be SOL with the Costco gloves because their smalls are more similar to mediums...

yeah, thats the only kind of odd part. Since they're unisex and with a size chart on the packaging, if anything I would have thought their Small was more like a Women's Small. In reality seems more like a medium-cadet.

Odd thing about Costco: I'm a member that resents all the other members.  They're such hoarders!  Every basket has 1000 items in it.  Get out of my way, people!  Is it just me?

The best glove I've come across is the Srixon Premium cabretta glove.  $14.99 at the PGASS.  About $12/glove for a six-pack on ebay.  Equal to any premium brand cabretta glove I have ever used, and I've used them all including those that cost north of $30 each.

My biggest complaint is all the people who walk side by side of each other and the cart, won't let others go by them, and are on a day long time killing date/expedition walking as slowly as possible all the while blocking aisles.

I put them in the same place as the ones who park their cart sideways in the middle of the aisle and just stand there with a blank look on their face.

Other than that I really like Costco.

Why all the complaints about the size? I'm a ML in any other glove and I just buy the Mediums at Costco and get on with my life.

If you are not buying these, you are pi$$ing your money down the drain.

The day I do that will be the day the sizes suddenly are correct.  Best deal out there for golf gloves.

it definitely has its own "cultural norms," lets just call it that. one thing I saw the other day that really kind of p^@$#ed me off, was people returning food they'd already mostly eaten ... a pie and chicken where more than half was gone. What did they say, it didn't dawn on us until we had fed ourselves that we didnt like the taste? I was next in the return line and I asked the Costco employee if they really returned food theyd already eaten, and he just shook his head ... like, yeah, it's an obvious scam but we have to honor it. Anyway I was returning a hoodie the day after I purchased it because it was a size too large, all tags on, 100% perfect and resalable btw. Really my only complaint about the store setup is that there's no changing room ... every time I want to get clothes from there i have to take it home, and about half the time I end up returning because the size or fit is wrong.
