Is Stealth2 + faster and as fade bias as the OG Sim line?

Really like my OG Sim Max setup in my bag. It’s the most fade biased/left miss protection driver I’ve ever played, which I love because my miss is left. Not sure why it works, but think it’s just a combo of shaft and head. The shaft is something I would have never thought would work. I’m a very quick tempo and transition wise player, but I tried an Aldila Quaranta 40 gram Reg and it felt like a noodle. However, it’s been incredible for me. Best dispersion and least left misses of any set up ever played. Not sure if it plays like Autoflex theory but I was fitted for it before that fad hit the market. Anyways, just wondering if I’m leaving some ballspeed on the table with the Stealth 2 head.

I don’t think it is as fade bias. I am not sure if it is faster or not. May be for some, not for others.

My experience is based on the Sim 2 vs Stealth 2+. I got about ~5 mph more ball speed on average compared to the Sim2 on the monitor and a couple of hundred less spin. I took it out to the range today and it seems to concur with the monitor. That thing shoots out bombs. I call it the silent killer because of its sublime sound that launches rockets. My gradient of ball flight seems to be narrower as well. Look forward to taking this baby to the course.

From my own testing the stealth + and stealth 2+ were pretty much the same in terms of ball speed, with the stealth + maybe being a bit faster. Can't say vs the sim as haven't hit it. They both tend to sit closed though, so don't think they'd be fade biased unless you were to turn it down perhaps. 

 

EDIT- I'm referring to 15* fairway woods in this post.

I've had the entire SIM and Stealth line for driver in my bag and can say that while it's not necessary faster on good swings, the Stealth 2 + is definitely more forgiving on mishits.  The OG Stealth is more fade biased like the OG SIM, IMO, however I find the Stealth 2 + to be more neutral bias like the SIM 2.

Completely agree with this and have owned all 4 also

 

the only weird thing during testing was I saw my 4 highest ball speeds with standard stealth 2  over stealth 2+

Agreed, I'm playing my 9 turned down to 8 with my weight track closer to draw & it wants to go straight.   By all accounts with the "Lie Angle" Change & the face being open it should go way right & it does not.  S2P 's are what I would call a pure neutral that can go fade with a VERY stout shaft & the weight track moved to fade.

 

As for ballspeed for "Me" it's faster than anything I have hit but that is "Me".

Thanks. As soon as the weather gets better I’m going to try the og Stealth.

I am currently in trail phase. I have the stealth 2 and paradym 3D both with Ventus TR black shafts. It “seems” right now the paradym is just a smidge quicker. But I am not ready to say that 100%

Both of those are intriguing..how do you think the black tr compares to the regular black 6x ?    Love the OG 6x but Tr always i catches my eye

TR Black has better feel and was slightly lower spin for me compared to the OG Black.

It is funny. I didn't like the OG black. I cant really tell you why but it just felt dead. The TR feels much more lively to me.

that is interesting to hear.   i do like the OG Black.....so if this TR feels more lively, does that equate with it feeling less stout?  or is it pretty similar in terms of that part

Supposedly it is much stouter. Maybe a better description of the OG black is muddy.. Where the TR feels more crips.
