BEST GRIP DEALS

Looking to regrip my clubs and was wondering what’s out there as of best deal or new non-name brand grips. I’m usually a tour velvet kind of guy but not limited to. Appreciate the advice!

Karma velvets are very good and can usually be had for less than $2/per from a variety of online sellers.  They also sell a ribbed version which can be hard to find these days.

KNLY grips on Amazon. I've used them for the last 2 years and regripped 10-15 people with them. The ones I use are very much like Lamkin Crossline.

Karma revolution 360s are awesome for less than 2 bucks a pop

 

I ordered 40 or so and they all came within +/- 1 gram of the median weight

GolfWorks usually has a good deal on Royal grips, buy 6 get 6 free, 12 grips for $24-$27 depending on size.

I will second KNLY grips off of Amazon. As good as Golf Pride, at least this version. I get these in midsize - "KNLY Mate Pro Golf Grips MultiCompound." I have them on multiple sets. 

 

I also have the ones mentioned above- much like Lamkin Crosslines. They are also good. However, the multi-compound are my favorites.

Do they have ones that don’t taper similar to MCC+4? Or are these more similar to the non +4 that taper? I was thinking of trying the Champkeys since they appear to have less taper.

I have the Champkeys, as well. I like them and would/do use them but I do like the midsize KNLY better. Here is the issue with the Champkeys that I received - I bought the red ones and white ones, both in midsize. The white ones were a bit thicker (and heavier) than the red, with less taper. Again, that was fine, but they were supposed to be the same grip - so quality control. Had I not bought 2 different colors I would have never known - each good on their own. The red ones were more similar to the KNLY thickness-wise. As mentioned, I like the KNLYs better, they just feel better and feel more "Golf Pride-like."

 

The KNLYs do have slight taper, not as pronounced as, let's say, a Tour Velvet but not quite a +4, maybe a +3 🙂

I’m dumb I was looking at a color they didn’t have in midsize and just saw the product description saginf standard/midsize

 

Side note does anyone have first hand experience with the wedge Guys grips?

I received my knly MC grips yesterday from amazon.  They are very nice and 13 grips for $22 was a deal.  Thank you.

I have been debating re-gripping an older set of irons with MCC grips that are worth more than the clubs themselves (original 845s), or going with Tour Velvet to save cost - this thread helped with that decision - KNLY it is!

Royal Grips from Golfworks are the best deal. Their cord is as good as any cord grip I've played (if not better).

I have bought KNLY and Champkey (among others) off Amazon and none of them are nearly as soft as golf pride. The softest ones that I have found are Grip One Ever Tac Plus from golfworks. I have limited time with them, but they feel like tour velvets.

I use the KNLY version of the CP2's right now. They're not as soft as the CP2's and not exactly the same shape, but very solid for the price. 13 KNLY grips for the price of 3 or 4 Golf Pride's.
