Have any of you guys had issues with your package delivered to the wrong address?

As of late I've been getting my packages delivered to the wrong address. The first 2 times it was delivered in the same neighborhood but different houses. 3rd time was in a completely different city. Now it just happened again. Whether its UPS, USPS, or Fed ex something seems off since March till now. I've had 4 packages delivered to the wrong house now. Just recently I bought an item off of a member. It said it was delivered via UPS to my house yesterday. But I never got a package. And my Ring cam doesn't show any delivery was made. So I'm hoping whoever received it will drop it off. I plan to talk to each carrier face to face to see if something can be done whether its on my end or there end on Monday. Just seeing if anyone has experienced this before. And if you have. What steps did you take to correct it. I get it stuff like this happens from time to time. But I don't think it happens this consistent. FYI I moved into my new house 2 1/2 years ago. The first few months was terrible for deliveries. As its a new neighborhood. Then it was getting better and better. Now its happening again.

i haven't had an issue with my packages being delivered to the wrong address but for some reason everybody else's packages get delivered to me... in the last year i have had 8 packages delivered to me all with my street name but the house numbers weren't even close...being a good neighbor i delivered the first 7 to the correct homeowners, even when one was a crib that weighed about a 100lbs .. but i had to draw the line when a 200lb steel shelf was delivered but finally my neighbor saw the box and came over and got it..

Once I had a golf bag I ordered disappear. Got fully refunded so no worries.

I’ve gotten packages meant for others and for the last 4-5 years have gotten quite a bit of daily mail that wasn’t mine. Used to be rare now it’s somewhat common.

Been a fair number of threads on here about this same thing so it seems pretty evident it’s becoming more common. One of my best friends works for UPS and I know someone else who works for FedEx. They’re under a good bit of time pressure so I’m guessing maybe they don’t pay as much attention to accuracy as needed.

This has been happening to me for years. It started a few years before Covid started so using Covid as an excuse doesn't fly with me. I've been lucky having honest people delivering my packages to me and my wife delivers the packages we get that belong to other people in our neighborhood. It was so bad around Christmas time that a bunch of us made a formal complaint to the USPS.

It's not just USPS it is all of them. Even Amazon has mis-delivered a few packages recently. What was funny about Amazon is they always take a picture of the package on your doorstep. The first mis-delivered package was a picture of someone's foot in the parking lot. The second one had a picture of my package on a neighbors porch so that one was easy to track down.

A few years ago I ordered a $250 fishing reel shipped with signature confirmation. My package said it was delivered but I never received it and neither my wife nor I signed for it. I called the local post office about the issue and got the run around. I asked to see the signature from the delivery. I was told they would check into it. I called several days in a row asking about it and got nothing. Five days after delivery a person several blocks away dropped my package off. He said he was sorry it took him so long to drop it off. He said his young son picked it up off the porch and brought it in the house and he was unaware of the package until he noticed it. I called the post office and once again asked who signed for it and then told the person evidently it was dropped off on the porch two blocks away. Their reply was that it happens sometimes.

What pisses me off about these situations is if your package says delivered you are out of luck trying to get your money back when you didn't receive it. In every case that I didn't receive a package I was denied a refund. Luckily every package found its way to me days later due to honest people.

My father in law called not to long ago. And said a guy dressed in shorts and a hoody dropped off a package with my name on it. So it was definitely delivered to the wrong house again.

USPS did that to me this week. ZX Utility 4 iron head gone. Guess I’m outta luck… shipped first class within the state but I have no proof as that type of shipment doesn’t offer tracking. Lesson learned

1st class has tracking. just not insurance.
