Such a clean looking bag. Consistent driver to fairway metals. Elegant forged irons straight into a classic looking Vokey wedge mix.

 

And then that putter. What a disaster. A 45" blue fanged nightmare. After 2-3 shots of looking down on the best of modern technology and forged beauty how can he justify pulling that monster out of the bag?

So he's also testing the Mizuno Fli-hi #3 alongside the ZU85? I'm guessing there's not much difference between the #3 and the 7w in terms of distance?

 

Anyway, beautiful bag, and another vote for TM releasing that 4-wood.

 

That blue thing near the bottom looks interesting. Does he brand cattle with it?

I was wondering that. I recently bought a Stealth 5w, and while I'm still testing it, I find ever so slightly towards the toe seems to produce the longest, highest shots.

Was just opening this page thinking "Another Iron Shaft change?".

 

He must be using two 60* for varied turf conditions? Not familiar with the AD+ stamp on the M grind 60.

Back to a Vokey 48* instead of the Miura AS-1 PW. Always moving parts it seems like this season.

I just picked up a Srixon U85 23* to replace my 5 iron…wow what an easy club to hit. I like it so much that yesterday I ordered one to replace the 6 iron.

Interesting on the 7 wood and 3 utility iron. Definitely easier to flight up that 7 wood into par 5s if need be and use that utility iron off the tee or into long par 3s.

It's interesting to see him continuously switching iron shafts.  I'd love to see some Titleist woods back in his bag at some point as well.

He was given a set of those during the players but to my knowledge has never played a competitive round with them. Disappointed, since those are what Miura sold to the public. He’s never even played them.

I'd be curious too, Scheffler plays the Zu85 also. The 85 can be had for a good price right now it is on my short list to replace my current driving iron.

Where is the offset he talks about?!?!?!?!  Yikes.  

 

Either way the man is a question gorilla with those shafts and still rips the cover off the ball.

I was wondering that. I recently bought a Stealth 5w, and while I'm still testing it, I find ever so slightly towards the toe seems to produce the longest, highest shots.

 

 

I have a similar wear mark. Definitely toe biased. I used a quad and some strike spray to test it out and the best shots were slightly toward the toe every time. 'center strikes'  didnt feel quite as solid and spun more than i'd like.

Anyone else notice that his driver is in the higher setting?  That's 4* closed face angle unless I'm missing something.
