I found a minty one last round I played and was impressed with the distance and spin I was getting with it. Wasn't really able to make a proper assesment of it as I smacked it OB 3 holes later! :dntknw:

 

I was impressed enough however to pick up a couple of dozen that I plan on playing once the snow clears out, or I get down south, whichever comes first.

 

I'm sure that doesn't help you a whole lot but it's the best I can do for now...

I played the tour deep all year because I wanted a little more greenside spin than the HX Tour. Basically, the ball is the HX Tour 56. I love it - and you can find it at a great price right now. Distance, spin, and phenomenal durability.

I love this ball. The spin I put on some shots impressed the rest of my foursome. But he best thing was the cover durability. Unlike the HX Tour and ProV1, the cover did not shred on my sw shots. This was with a new sw too.

my experience with the tour deep produced mixed feelings... very long, as suggested by the name, equal spin as compared w/ prov's, but the only problem i had was that it seemed as though it skuffed rather easily... i.e. after a couple wedge shots or anytime i hit it into a bunker... very good ball, but i'll play whatever's free, anything from pinnacle exceptions to prov1's

I read somewhere that alot of the Hogan balls are being made by Bridgestone. I really like some of the Birdgestone balls. I'll have to add the Tour Deep to the must try list.

I agree that it scuffs. But, to me, there is a big difference between an aesthetic scuff and those 3 little cuts that I produce on a PV1 and PV1x almost every time I strike them with a pw/sw/gw/lw. I'm not good enough to suffer from any ill effects those little cuts have on ball flight, but after a few holes where I hit anything with a "w" in it, it looks like it has been in the blender. About the worst I have doen to the Hogan is to scuff the writing/logo off. Been playing it since it came out and have yet to cut one even slightly.

it's mental, but anything Hogan for me is BAD.. hooks, slices..OB.. My FIL always gives me hogan's he finds on the course and I always tell him this shot does not count..and sure enough there it goes OB... Seriously I know the HX Tour 56 is essentially the same ball (different dimple shape) but I love the callaways...

Great ball, I switched from the ProV1. I get better distance maybe 5 yards and the spin is just a s good. Great feel on the putter, you cant ask for more.

Hogan Deep is a very underrated, underappreciated ball. I split my time with the ProV1 and the Deep. Great feel off the driver, for what it's worth. It just plain works, and is somewhat more traditional alternative to the HX 56.

I found this ball to be about 10 yards shorter than the ProV1X or the B330 Tour.I hit it side by side with them quite a few times and that was the result Maybe it spun too much for me

Nice ball, not as long as some but performs well, spin is very good, definitely more durable than the Hogan Apex Tour ball.

This is one of the best high-spin performance balls on the market right now. It spins a little much for me but most players I talk to love it. Unfortunately, Callaway does not want Hogan to cut into its market share and the ball is being discontinued. It is the same ball as the HX Tour 56 but without the hex dimples. I have seen some in golf stores recently for $25-$30/dozen.

Digging this one up from the past in order to let you guys know that these can be had now in two dozen rewashed packs for $15.

 

Grade is very good, but not mint. They will have some minor blems but nothing major.

 

Just picked up a box of two dozen at my local Wal-Mart. $14.95. I can remember spending close to $40 a dozen on these recently.

It is the same ball as the HX Tour 56 but without the hex dimples.

This is the same thing I was told by a former Hogan employee.

Awsome Ball, I prefer over Hx tour and Hx tour 56. It is one of those two models. You can even see the 6 indented dimples same as with the newer hx tour and hx tour 56. Great Ball, right up there with V1X and Hx tour as my favorite ball to game.
