Yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting to see Paradym irons when I opened up this WITB! And was even more shocked to see them matched up with TX flex in a FW. I am so curious about his game now.

I have looked at them in the store.  15' away they look like CB's and then when you pick them up and set them down you see GI for sure.

But I thought they released a Pro version recently.  

Hey we have also seen AP1's, z545/585/z5's now as well as p790's out there. 

If you can get your head into them shovels and a ho could work.  

Just avoid pitchforks.  Ball slips through the forks! 🙂

Such an interesting bag. I know Paradym irons have game improvement features ... but I posted some side-by-side pictures with Srixon ZX Mk II irons here, and to me, from the top, they look pretty much the same size as ZX5/ZX7 Mk IIs. Without question, smaller than the ZX4 Mk II. And, surprisingly enough given how low-spin they're supposed to be, they spin more than the Srixons for me.

 

I'm pretty surprised to see them here, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in LPGA bags. I still hate the badging, but they're good irons.

Zero chance those are his gaming irons! There was a video on twitter/golf channel last night with Johnny Wunder showing JJ his new custom staff back and them swapping his clubs into it and outside of what looked like maybe a paradym driving iron, all TCB's. They do look like the players distance model but again I can't see anyway he would switch irons the week of his first ever major and play irons that are 4-5* stronger in lofts per club.

Maybe just for pics for Callyway?  Or maybe was a replacement / temp bag until his irons showed up?

He told Tursky and I that these were going in play. He said the launch and spin numbers were perfect for him

 

now could he change his mind, yes but at the Nelson he told me he would be making a big change and that I should shoot his WITB at the PGA Championship

 

this was not any photo op thing for Callaway

Does he have a Paradym PW in there?  Looks like something else based on the lettering on the bottom of the club.  Maybe a TCB PW?

Not from the looks because these are a pretty good shape…the issue is I’d need to play a balata ball to get the spin even close to the right window with those irons.

He’s probably just put them into play. The ones I’ve seen folks claiming the finish is junk on them. My previous reply was meaning that most folks”do” think they’re too good for an iron of this type. Your reply is totally understandable. They’re not for everyone.
