Interesting that UW is unmarked. When Phil first got into the UW, when it was still a Prototype, he was using a UW equivalent to a 4 Iron replacement. 

 

If that's still the same head, he would be looking at a Top of the Bag consisting of:

 

Paradym 8.5° Driver.

BURNR 11.5° Mini Driver.

Anser 17.0° Hybrid. 

UW 19.0°-20.0°

X-Forged UT 22.0°.

 

That's definitely a clustered Top of the Bag!

 

He couldn't possibly need to play all 5 of those clubs on a daily basis.

My thoughts exactly. I didn't know that about Phil and the UW. I've seen some lower lofted ones floating around so I thought maybe it was in-between the mini and the Anser

He did it with the Original One mini as well.  Likely to make it not look like a Taylormade club on tv.  Keeping up appearances...

For who? Supposedly Callaway paused their relationship with him and no one is watching LIV golf 😂 (even though I find it mildly entertaining.)

Same with the 300 Mini as well, he's been blacking out any Taylormade clubs that have been in that spot since he started using them with the OO mini driver. As for the "why" at this point, it might be just as much not wanting to give TM free advertising as trying to play nice with Callaway.

If that was the case he should have covered the Ping wedge in tape unless he's OK with giving them free advertising. 

 

It's pretty obvious he's still a Callaway staffer, regardless of what the official statement by them is. At this point none of it matters because with the amount of LIV money he got, he's not getting anything worthwhile from a monetary standpoint from any company

He doesn’t care about the wedge.  That was the inspiration for the PM wedge, and different incentives.

Goes beyond this. Remember when he had a blacked out (crown) original TM Rocketballz 3 wood? Cally let him play it IIRC and had it blacked out so it wasn’t know but I know some stories hit back then.

Someone went through all that trouble to take a sharpie to the sole, but left the TaylorMade logo on the toe. Makes no sense.

That's where you're wrong. All the tour pros eagerly await my assessment of their equipment.

Wrong...it goes even farther back with Mickelson and Blacked out TM Woods.
