Final underway. Should be a great match. Each looking for their second win, but I think Ayaka has the edge with her experience on the JLPGA. Her wonderful run at the Oly should also help.

That was kinda ridiculous lol.  Ball lands on green rolls past flag to the back almost hits the fringe, catches the slop on rolls all the way to the front of the green.  Once the ball hit the green it rolled 80 yards lol.

Sigh. Your opponent just hit their approach to within 12 feet for a good look at birdie. You're lying 3 in the rough playing your 4th shot. Why does it take over 2 minutes to hit your shot? 

 

Seriously, is the tour directing players to slow down to fill the TV time? There can't be another explanation for taking 2 minutes to hit a shot.

That's not good. Nelly is having her own back issues as well. That's why she is skipping the event at Liberty National next week.

Good match, but it looks like Ayaka's distance disadvantage got the best of her. The greens are very firm, and she struggled to hold them. Back to back runner up finishes in two years. Not too shabby. 

 

Congrats to Pajaree. Solid play all week.
