Those were the longest standing irons in my bag in a long while! I actually hit my 2nd hole in one with the same 7 iron.

I like to switch my irons out often enough that the wear mark doesn’t expose my ballstriking

Ha, agreed. Then again, I don't think I could hit it in the same same spot enough to actually create a wear spot. Especially anywhere near the sweet spot.

I don’t get everyone’s fascination with this guy. Great story at the PGA champ but I’d lay money on him missing the cut this week by a wide margin. 
 

Dude is obviously a stick but being able to do it week in week out is what sets the tour guys apart from club pros.

Just a feel good story.. don’t disagree he won’t all of a sudden become a main stay but these types of things are cool. Like rooting for the ams in the majors too.

It is an amazing story. 

 

Don't think anyone is assuming he will be tour pro quality any time soon.

 

I find it hilarious that the 2023 PGA will be remembered more for Block than Brooks.

No one is going to remember block in a years time… not knocking the guy but Brooks cemented his legacy with that win. Winning stands the test of time

The fact he is qualified for next years PGA means that in a years time, he will be talked about and remembered.

 

I bet you that when the end of year wrap up articles are done, Block will have "shot of the year".
