MT PRO Wedges are designed by Hall of Fame clubmaker Don White. Everything about the new MT PRO wedges is designed for versatility whether hitting from the bunker, chipping or for full shots. MT PRO Wedges are forged from soft 1025 carbon steel with a slightly onset, curved leading edge. Their profiles are classically high toe and slightly squared. The soles are relieved in the heel and toe to allow the wedges to be opened without raising the leading edge.

White's signature stamped clubs can usually only be found in the bags of professional Tour players he has been personally fitting for over 30 years. Now, his MT PRO, signature stamped wedge is available as part of the MT series.

Configuration: 50°/6° bounce, 52°/6° bounce, 54°/10° bounce, 56°/10° bounce 56°/12° bounce, 58°/10° bounce, 60°/8° bounce, 60°H/12° bounce with True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts. Golf Pride DD2 Red & Black grips.

Got my 54/10 and 60/8 wedges in, feels good chipping around. They seem lighter than my Cleveland TA 588s. I will practice more with them, trying to match my forged irons with forged wedges.

I've purposely waited until I could really give a good account for how this wedge performs for me. I've been a Cleveland and Vokey guy for years, but couldn't pass up the custom grind deal from Morton's, so I pulled the trigger - 60/8, straight & killed leading edge, and a 4-way rolled sole.

Appearance - Good looking grind and the club just sets up well behind the ball. I opted for the straight leading edge, so that really helps frame everything at address. Ferrule did come loose the other day, but that's a minor detail that's easily fixed.

Feel - The forged stainless offered in the deal is a first for me. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am impressed with how good the feel is. No complaints, very solid when hit well. Off center hits are noticed, but not terrible.

Performance - Great versatility, especially with the face opened up. Head just glides under the ball. Main complaint is the lack of spin, on both full and partial shots. I find myself going to my 54 deg. Vokey SM when I need to stop the ball quickly, which is not why I carry a lob wedge.

Overall - 4. Would be a 5 if it were even close to the spin generated by other wedges I've hit. I'm not giving up on it yet, but I have a 58* Vokey just waiting for an opening....

i got the 54.10 and the 60.08 in gunmetal for 75 bucks each in november. i love the 60. such a nice grind on it and good feel. the 54 is also nice for the full shots. i disagree with the above post about the lack of spin these have... i have tried spin milled vokeys and the cleveland zip grooves and these wedges spin so much better than them. i get the same compliment from my friend who has spin milled. he is probably gonna buy these soon. overall a nice club and i gave it a 5. ballflight seems a bit hard to knock down at times tho

Snuck down to Florida and got one round in with them. Loved them! The set up is beautiful and I was able to hit anything i asked of them . Impressive because it was my first time out. Now I just hope they perform in the turf conditions of Upstate NY. That was my first time playing in FLA and that earth you people walk on down there is way different that it is up here.

I have gotten a few more round in with these wedges. Love them performance wise. I am having a real problem with the face of the clubs. Along the scorelines I am getting white-ish marks from bag dinging. Ton of them. I cleaned them once with a wire brush and they got white streaks across the faces. Troubling.

I picked up a 56*/10* bounce and bent to 57.5. I've gamed it for 4 rounds now and I'm not sold on it. I prefer my 2009 Mizuno MP-R's and will go back to them. I can't really describe it, but the MT just doesn't work for me. Not that big a deal as I was able to get it new shipped to my door for $40.00. I'll keep it around as a back up, but for me a 3 out of 5.
