Love my current 505 2i.  Wonder if there’s a tech story here or if it’s just got a new skin on it.

Not pretty but man they are effective!! I have a U510 1 iron which is as close to point and shoot of any club I have in my bag.

They really did. PING is offering just as much forgiveness as any of them, in a WAY sleeker package. I was a Titleist Utility iron guy for years, but I'm not a fan of these fattys

I wonder where the 505 fits in with the 350 driving iron.  They seem to have a tremendous amount of overlap.

Wonder how much input tour players had on that club?  Can't imagine anyone wanting a wide sole black driving iron.  It appears wider than T200. 

 

I never liked the Titleist U series driving irons.  So, in 2017 I opted for the 716 T-MB 17' 2i, later 718 T-MB 17' 2i up to late last year when I replaced it with T200 17' 2 iron.  Still have my Mizuno 15' blade 1 iron; it's fun to take it out for a spin.

I've got 425 crossover and a u505, I find the 505 much easier to hit and way more forgiving on bad strikes.

Yikes….I would definitely stick to the old model for looks alone. The all black isn’t nearly as bad though.
