The notch is supposed to enable the sole to lay closer to the ground. It helps with open face shots. I have a KING MIM 56 that is a really great all around wedge. I don’t even carry a lob wedge because it does everything for me. 
 

oh and it feels so pure on center struck shots.

Really wanting to get my hands on one of the Tensei Blue 1K shafts. I play the standard Tensei blue in my driver and would love to test one of the 1K’s out. Seems like they are starting to show up in a few more bags.

I have the 70TX in my driver and absolutely love it.  Feels a little more stout than the CK Pro Blue and is definitely more stable for me.  Still has the signature smooth blue board feel.  Emiliano and Thomas Detry are the two guys that have them in driver that I can think of.

You’re a GT player too right? How would you say 1KB and GT compare?

Very subtle differences.  1K seems to have a little more kick to it and spins a little more than the GT.  GT feels a little more stout.  Both are very smooth though.

Gotcha. I’m gonna keep my eye out for one or at least to try and get my hands on. May try out something like a 70stiff since I’m currently in a 75.
