NCAA Golf Commits on IG gone?

Does anyone know who runs the Instagram NCAA Golf Commits? It's gone! Kinda bummed. it's been really fun to follow all of the commits for 2024 and now for 2025.

I was thinking that the coaches and establishments did not like the spotlight on "some" of the recruiting decisions and possibly complained.

They are back up and running, Their previous account got hacked. now you can find them at NCAA Golf Commitments on Instagram.

They just got up and going again this afternoon. Spread the word they'll be back to 6000+ in no time.

Well, how these programs are shaping up and who they are adding could definitely influence one’s decision. And as you go through junior golf your kid plays with or against many of these kids so there is some relationship there.

Yeah still a year away from being able to do that. I will stick to my stance that  it’s important to note where these programs are headed and who will be playing there down the road.

No the schools do not post verbal commits. They are not allowed to post until you sign. 

 

This NCAA Golf Commitments IG page is fantastic! 

 

 It's fun to see where the kids are committing and be able to congratulate them along with future classes seeing exactly where they may or may not fit in. Of course we see or hear where our friends commit but it's fun to see where kids from other parts of the country and international kids are committing. 

 

To those who are not interested, don't follow the IG page! But that's your loss! Knowledge is power.

 

Guessing there is a bit of jealousy involved as well from those "not interested."

 

If your kid has worked hard and has been offered and committed. THEN Shout it from the rooftop! Be proud! They did it. It's a huge accomplishment!  

 

The NCAA Golf Commitments IG posts all schools. It's a great page. 6000+ agreed. I'm sure this new page with have more followers.

FWIW, I knew schools aren't allowed to post about verbal commits. And I agree whole heartedly with all of your other points.  It's useful information for somebody looking to make an informed decision.

Cool list. Add one more, Tucker Sweeney to Santa Clara as of this evening. Interesting to see 5 of the 9 so far committed in class of 2025 are from California.  Good for these guys! Recruiting is fun but also very stressful. Must be nice to be be committed already. It started early with the kid going to ASU then CAL then Texas. All of these recruits are great players. Happy for all of them!

It tracks both. The original account was hacked and everything was deleted. They are reposting everything, starting with Boys 2024 then Girls 2024 then boys and girls 2025. Go check it out.

The ranking of the college they are going to. This number is somewhat fluid but directionally accurate.
