wedge shaft help

never played any special shafts or setups in my wedges. 

 

starting to fine tune my game and really put some effort into it. 

 

thinking of getting new t200 irons with amt red s300 shafts. if i go this route what shafts should be used in the wedges.

i'm reading the wedge shafts should be slightly heavier and softer.  so maybe 5.5 project x wedge shafts or dg r300 120's , or something like that?

AMT RED has a dedicated GW shaft, use that for GW, SW and LW

Hey @Howard_Jones, I didn't realise about AMT red having a 36.5" in the range (play AMT white, so just assumed all only went down to 37"). Got me browsing around the TT website though, and noticed the DG Spinner Wedge shaft is a 37.5".... seems odd that a specialist wedge shaft wouldn't come in wedge length? Or is it because actually they've just cherry picked the 8i from the next flex up....? #Iseewhattheydidthere...

The DG Spinner is NOT the same as i suggest, and it will NOT be spinner shaft, unless you play R flex.

Any idea why a 'wedge shaft' would come in 8i length only then? Would end up trimming <2" off for a pitch wedge/loosing near on 6g yea?

The shaft is most likely S200 #8 iron shafts, = A spinner for the R flex player, but NOT if you play S or X in irons.
