I’ve seen the new line of drivers and fairway woods. I think looks wise these will be a favourite for many.

Are they still triangular shaped? Or more rounded like TM and Titleist?

Already getting ready to replace my Aerojet LS with the next model. Every year the difference is minimal but it seems they get a bit better every year Aerojet has been fantastic this year just wish I had this technology 25 years ago when I could really play. The ball never curves and you can hit the driver anywhere on the face and lose almost nothing. It’s amazing

That’s a good question but if I had to make a choice I would rather hit my shots straight as when I try to work my shots that doesn’t always happen and my missed shots are much greater

I never bought and tried an aero ls head despite my intrigue to do so. I just didn't see how they would have added weight back on it. I'm very weary of heavily forward CoG drivers and that driver screams forward CoG. If the next release has the option for heavier and lower rear weighting then I may try it.

But stealth2+ gives me no reason to even think about it and I haven't shafted up the paradym 3d I bought a few weeks ago yet...

The new ones have front and back weights, LS 2 at the front and one at the back and the normal one has 1 front and 1 back

Who knows with cobra...I think we saw the aerojet as early as September of last year.

We saw it extremely early as Gary Woodland was testing before being announced as an official Cobra staffer.

It’s not that I can’t shape it, the point is modern drivers coupled with the modern golf ball just don’t move much on mis hits. The ball flies straight. Anyone who played persimmon and balata knows what curve is. Players that only know the last 15 years of equipment have no clue how good they have it. I was just appreciative the modern technology

To each their own but AeroJet LS has been all I could ask for.  Wouldn't say it is a step back

The LS is the best driver I’ve used going back to the Taylormade 320 Tour (way way back). It’s the only driver that doesn’t spin like crazy for me on heel shots. TXG did their driver speed contest and the LS was I think second right behind the TSR3 for speed, it absolutely was not a step back.

I did not take a close look at the shaping at the time.  However, there was a third weight port added rearward on the LS model in addition to the heel and toe side present on the past two generations.

Ugh. Just when I think i'm set with my Aerojet, they go and put a back weight port in the new model. Would it really matter to me as I have my current one extremely dialed-in on launch and spin? Well, no. But man do I want it anyway...

For those who like to buy the prior year models, I absolutely love the Aerojet. Feels like you can hit it all over the face. It tested out at the top of the class in Cool Club's driver testing series as well. I don't swing it fast enough to handle the Aerojet LS, which is apparently the lowest-spinning driver on the market, but the standard Aerojet has been money for me. I play the 10.5 turned down to 9.5 and all the ball wants to do is go straight unless you really miss it on the face. Feels like for my swing its really just a matter of getting the face angle square at impact. I love the thing.

Thats why I love Cobra drivers. They are absolute STEALS once new models come out. You can get an LTDx around $150 right now easily on the Bay

When COBRA makes a good driver, it takes a while for the price of them to come down

If you go to eBay, an F9 in good condition cost just as much as a RadSpeed right now

In some circles, the F9 is more expensive than a Rad Speed and an LTDx (2nd Swing)

When COBRA makes a good one, they seem to develop almost a cult following keeping the price up

With all the accolades the AreoJet is getting I think the AreoJet will take this path and take a while to come down in price once the "Dark Helmet" is released

Or whatever they are going to call the new one

No clue on embargoes but our club has the catalog. It looks like a really good line up.

Dark Speed LS has my attention. Last driver was Speedzone, stupidly sold the head but this looks like a really nice improved 2023 version of it with the PowerBridge and a Stealthy look... 👍

LS looks like it's got a decently deeper face than the X. And the back of the driver tapers quite a bit more towards the crown. I've only ever played drivers that have the rear of the crown tapered down to keep the bottom of the driver quite flat. Very intriguing!
