How do you choose your wedge bounces and grinds?

Just because you cannot pull it off don't discount that it cannot happen based on design.

It does matter. Higher speeds cause more deviations in equipment forces on impact and dispersion in misses.

But they don't. That is circumstantial..... PERIOD. (that's taken from how you like to discuss topics)

You talk like you some kind of messiah of Bobby Jones coming out of the garbage alley of Amen corner holding some holy scripture saying it must be done this way or else and no other ways methods and equipment shall not be used or be forever stricken.

I dont know your handicap nor do I care. There are plenty of people here who are better but you prob place yourself as a superior being or all things short game and the second coming Seve or the like.

This is a community of bilateral opinion jargon and feedback not some @ss just parodying his stricken beliefs as concrete and it's my way and my way only.

No one can pull it off because of the requirements of the shot being struck higher on on the face and the lie not allowing the club to slide underneath the ball to get to that location on the club face. You are more than welcome to try and demonstrate hitting a flop shot off a tile floor....I'll be awaiting that video.

I don't talk like I am some messiah as this information sits in plain sight and I state that regularly in many of my posts. I never said that a shot MUST be played in a certain way, I said that there is more efficient way to play any given shot and everything else is less efficient and most of us simply do not have the time to give up efficiency as time is of the essence if you want to become as good as you can as quickly as possible.

I know there are many golfers on here that are better than me but I assure you that I am among very few on here that play to a 5 handicap both right and left handed having never had a lesson and that is after spending 17.5 years in the middle east stuck on military bases and compounds. I am grinding daily to make up for lost time to become as good as I can at this game and switching from "Righty to Lefty" taught me a ton about this game that I love to share.

The best coaches are almost never the best players and though I know I'm not the best player, I know for sure that I am an effective coach.  You are just being too stubborn to ask questions and instead want to continue to make things personal when I welcome you to challenge anything that I post and I will put up a video of me executing the shot if it is possible.

It took me six years to break 90 right handed and six months to do it lefty because I was equipped with the knowledge of what must happen for a given shot to occur and impact doesn't care about your feelings as it is same for everyone, everyday, forever....PERIOD (LOL!!!!) So leading edge chip all you want if that's how you want to play golf, but don't sit here and tell people that it is the most efficient way play the shot and instead mention that it is how YOU play the game and that there are other methods that are more efficient.

Here you go. Watch this short video. IF you really understand it you'll realize this is the proper way to play all partial partial wedge shots. Just so we're on same page- a full wedge shot is the same as a normal iron shot where ball is hit FIRST.

Most people will watch this video and think okay that helps for bad lies. NO, if you have full understanding of this you will realize this is how ALL partial wedges should be played, EVEN from perfect fairways.

You will see in the video if you try to be perfect and hit ball first it is DISASTER and this is where most people get confused because you can actually GET AWAY with POOR technique from perfect fairways.

So to answer OP, find wedges you like to look at, and get the high bounce versions and learn correct technique.

The PLUS side to all this is if you really want to hit the other kinds of "manipulated" shots shared here then you can because you have a baseline to leave and come back to.

I never told anybody or anyone how to hit a shot or anything in terms of what is more efficiency. AGAIN you putting words in my mouth that I didn't mention.

I can see now you have a delusion and just read these and comprehend it in your own way by inserting something I didn't even mention multiple times. It's like talking to a flat earther or geocentrism believer. There is no point in trying.

So go ahead and speak your gospel. Start handing out pamphlets for all I care.

Still waiting on the flop shot off a tile floor video. Also like how you are still being personal at this point when you could have gone out and tested and come back with your findings by now.  It's all good though.  Best wishes to you and your game.
