Accra TZ Driving Iron Shafts

Looking to build a new Driving Iron set of 2 iron and 4 iron with the 2024 Mizuno PRO Fli-Hi.

 

Since going down the rabbithole of a true club hoe, im getting stuck at what kind of shaft i want. Most manufactures have the common shafts to test in a hybrid/DI. None of these really appeal to me. I played for the last 3 years the GD IZ hybrid 95x and it works well for me, but could be better.

 

so the question in mind, have anyone tried/played the new TZ line of Accra in hybrid or Driving iron specific shaft?

 

the TZ 6 DI shaft comes in at 95 g weight, really butt stiff and a soft tip, with low torque. What i like about the shaft on paper, is the fact that it looks just like the Nippon Modus 130, something that i love in my ironset. Elevates the flight quickly and flattens, resulting in a long and playable shaft with ample of control.

 

The TZ 5 looks linear compared to the 6, 105g shaft with heavy tip section and stable that way.

 

looking at weight/length ratio. The DI shafts are 1” shorter at raw length, that would get my total weight up a bit, and both shafts look fairly balanced i swingweight allowing for a okey-ish shorter build. Something that i struggle often with.

 

Im just worried that i will loose some speed in a 2 iron with a heavier shaft like 105 weight class where the Axioms are aswell. Anyone with experience on this?

 

for reference, i will play driver, 2 iron 16,5 degrees, the 4 iron on 21,5 then Zx blade 5 iron. So i need the 2 and 4 iron to be both long but playable with a little bit moore height to fit most courses.

 

swingspeed 2 iron on trackman - 103-105 range. 4 iron 100-103. Mid spin player.

Thats 10SW lighter,at  what length and SW target?

Didn't really have a target spec. Used a Titleist TMB 3 iron with a graphite design Tour AD DI shaft for years, and got familiar with it. Ended up needing a shaft a bit stiffer to adapt for added strength and increased skill throughout my college development, and put a Ventus black in a srixon head after the Accra TzFive didn't work. 

All I know is that apple to apples the Accra was way too light.

Do Fuji have a Ventus DI shaft? Their hybrid shafts don't have a Black 9x.
