  3. Rory McIlroy: +800 (opening odds) / +1000

I read that masters.com will stream everything, featured groups and such. Do they have commentators?

Also, I am not from the US. Has anyone had success using a VPN to watch the streams on masters.com?

I was able to use the Masters app and stream successfully using a paid VPN app while traveling international. That was 5 years ago but it worked.

I’m ignorant about many things, sports betting being one of them lol

But does this mean BK is 20 to 1? The same odds as Willy Z and Hovland?

And Rory is 10 to 1? So BK bet pays double what Rory pays?

Is there any way to like “arbitrage” that and capitalize on the perceived inaccuracy of their actual chances to win 🤣

Those moneyline numbers shows what you get paid for a 100$ bet, so your assumptions on the ratios are somewhat correct... as for the arbitrage there's nothing you can do about one bet relative to the other, with those moneyline figures only, you'd have to get relative bets between the players for that.

Also don't the lines move based on money flow?

It sure does. They are initially set so money flows 'evenly' to all players to insure that the one taking in the bets has enough of a bank to pay the winning bets but rakes in a profit with all the losing ones - that's the idea. Now if the moneyline is set to +2100 for Koepka and everyone jumps on that one, it would move to try and 'even' things out, you are obviously locked in at the moneyline you had when placing your bet.

I pick players on the Masters app. My issue of late is that I don’t watch LIV so I have no idea what form Koepka, Cam Smith, Niemann, etc are in. I try to “forecast” based upon recent performances, injuries, club changes, etc. I don’t think typical odds are that accurate with the pool’s bets.

For the past couple of years I’ve been looking at players who continue to “show up,” time and time again. I figured Tommy Fleetwood was a sure thing but recently he doesn’t seem to be in the discussion.

This year, for me, it’s Cameron Young. But Schauffele is a perennial. And Scheffler has been a phenom (sorry, Ferg).

Just don’t know about the LIV guys (and Rahm).

Niemann is probably playing the best of the bunch with 3 world wide wins in 2024 (2 LIV, 1 DP) but not the best record here amongst the crew. A lot of these guys have won here or close call like Cam and Brooksy.  Phil can show 0 form but knows this place probably better than anyone with his golf brain and a lot of these holes favor his lefty fade. P Reed will also go under looked but his short game is still elite.

I had the "misfortune" of going to the 2008 Masters.  That was the dullest Masters ever.  They Tiger proofed the course and no one could do anything exciting (no eagles, no birdies, struggling for pars) and Immelman won.  Here's hoping that no matter who wins, there is some drama on Sunday.

Not sure watching LIV would help you figure out anything....

Recent form is one thing to look at but also the "horses for courses" which does seem to apply to ANGC for sure.

Ahh, that's the year the Masters took all the roars out of their golf tournament. The players complained about the ridiculousness.... 🤣 The struggle was real.

BK been suckin down those corn dogs 🤣

Still though, I put $fiddy on him to win at 19/1  😳

Haha!

He better be careful. If he dyes his hair blonde and throws on some crazy pants he could pass for Brooks Daly.

Kidding aside, Brooks shows up mentally for majors in a way that very few current players are able to. Dude could definitely walk away with a green jacket at some point.
