We are looking for five (5) members to test out the Hyperice Venom 2 Back by Hyperice! The Venom 2 Back by Hyperice is the most advanced heat and massage wrap on the market. It heats up 6x faster than a standard heating pad providing instant, soothing relief to sore muscles. Apply now for your chance to be a tester, and see why athletes like Rory McIlroy, Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey and Jayson Tatum have joined Team Hyperice!

About the Hyperice Venom 2 Back

Three levels of heat paired with three distinct vibration patterns allow you to customize your soothing massage to best fit your need. This combination helps melt away stress and tension in your back, alleviates any soreness, loosens muscle knots and allows you to maintain flexibility and range of motion throughout the day.

Oh HECK yeah!

1. City, State?  San Diego CA

2. Handicap?  11.1
3. How often do you play golf?  2-3x a month
4. How do you prepare your body prior to playing golf? I honestly don’t. It’s tough to spend 6-7 hours away from the family so when I do play, if I hit any balls it is rushed. Other than that, just some basic stretches for two minutes on the first tee box.
5. What do you do to help your body recover from a round of golf?  Recover?  I’m realizing that I really don’t treat my body well when I play.

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates?  You bet. I slipped a disc in 2018 and I constantly have to take my time and watch myself when I’m doing any sort of bending or twisting, so I imagine this could really help.

Thanks for the opportunity!

2. Handicap? 8
3. How often do you play golf? 1-2 times a week
4. How do you prepare your body prior to playing golf? Honestly sometimes I don't because of time or golf is a last minute decision to run out and play 9.  But most times I stretch, hit a few balls, and I have a theragun mini in the bag to help wake up some muscle groups.
5. What do you do to help your body recover from a round of golf?  Theragun and rest and stretch as needed, but not as much as I should.

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates? Absolutely, yes.

1. City, State?

Las Vegas, Nevada

2. Handicap?

3. How often do you play golf?

18 holes per week, but practice 2-3 days a week.
4. How do you prepare your body prior to playing golf?
As a physical therapist and TPI trained, I have created a full rounded golf specific stretching/ mobility program that takes about 15 min. Use of a standard foam roller and Hyper-Ice massage gun is used prior to the stretching program to promote appropriate tissue lengthening.

5. What do you do to help your body recover from a round of golf?

As a physical therapist, I rely on hands on techniques related to reducing tissue adhesions that restrict appropriate movement and increases risk for pain. Use of myofascial cupping, massage gun use, IASTM scraping, trigger point release, and dry needling are all techniques I provide to myself and my patients prior and after a round of golf. Risk for pain is significantly reduced with an appropriate joint mobility/ stretching program paired with the soft tissue techniques mentioned above.

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates?

I would absolutely write an in depth review related to the experience with the device. I would even post the in depth review of Hyper-Ice products on my website and spread the  word to my patients of the benefit of the device to manage low back pain.  https://www.wgpsrehab.com

That's why I'm interested in something like this, which I could wear while staying mobile and taking care of our daughter when I tag back in on child care duties after my early-morning rounds!

4. How do you prepare your body prior to playing golf? Stretch for 20-30, light weight lifting, Stack prime program (given the time). As a person who ruptured L4/5 about 6 years ago, no warmup feels fully enough especially since most of my rounds are first tee times of the day.
