Don’t think the transition is too steep?

Transition is steep because arms are late

All "tips" are welcome. Instruction not desired.

The problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.

Looks to me like your wrist-set is very late and minimal -- but it's not part of a "float-loading" swing. And since your wrists are the last thing moving at the end of your backswing, it's the first thing you move/"undo" at the start of your downswing. So, you start the downswing by releasing your wrists and moving your right shoulder (and the club) out toward your target line -- then your brain realizes you've shifted your path out beyond the ball, your hips and shoulder freeze up, and you [re]direct the club head down to the ball with very straight arms and square shoulders and hips. In order to make room for fully-extended wrists and the club, you have to pull away from the ball and straighten up your body.

Maybe if you set your wrists (completely) a lot sooner and moved your arms to the top with shoulder rotation, you might be inclined to start the downswing by feeling like you're just moving your arms first (and not moving the club by straightening your wrists).

Very interesting thoughts sir, thank you!

This is the part of my swing where I know I'm dead.  Hands so far behind the pivot.  Look at the space between the right elbow and right hip.  UGH!

Just haven't been able to find a fix.

If the arms are trailing, which Monte said and is pretty apparent, you need to start the arms sooner in transition.  It will probably feel like they are starting well ahead of your lower body.  If you get worried that they are outracing your lower body.....video it...they won't.

Yeah man, I'd really focus on that right scapula - or perhaps work on pronating that right anterior crucial ligament in transition.

It's ultimately all about recalcitrant ulnar lumbar mediation.

Or, listen to Monte. The choice is yours. 🙂

Depressing the right scapula would help the arms move down faster. Keeping it elevated creates resistance to the right arm moving down.

You also need to try inhale on the backswing and exhale on the downswing, and and also time it so your heart is contracting on the downswing, thus increasing pressure and maximizing O2 delivery to your muscles....
