CPR 2 hybrid/irons

What do you guys think??

I seen a set of Nike CPR2 hybrid/iron set for dirt cheap. I haven't seen or heard anything good or bad about them can anybody fill me in?? Or are they a waste of money

They are wonderful hybrids. And for the price they can be had at now-a-days, it is close to stealing them. I have found them to be one of the higher hitting hybrids out there. One of my personal favorite things about them is that they are by far and away the most versatile hybrids that I have ever hit, that includes Nickent 3DX, Taylor Made Rescue & Rescue Dual, Ping G5, Cleveland HALO, Sonartec MD, and Callaway Heavenwood. I have found them to be clearly superior from the random long fairway bunker shots, long shots out of the rough, etc. Obviously when swinging well any hybrid is fairly good off the fairway or tee, but that is just another area where these shine.

Now, that I've said all that, watch out in spring for the new Nike Slingshot, and the Slingshot Tour hybrids that are coming. I've seen and hit these already, and all I can say is.......WOW!

What about the irons? are they forgiving and could I work the ball with them?

I believe that if the CPR iron/hybrid set is a set that has your interest, the last thing on earth you should worry about is "working" the ball. This is not at all intended to sound rude or brash, but if that is your catagory of clubs, worry about getting it in the air, and hitting it straight, then progress to a "workable" set if you so desire.

No, I would not call them "workable".
