I gotta give 'em a 5 C&L are extremely well made putters with a great feel I have used a lot of different high quality putters and I honestly believe they will stand toe to toe with the best and also they allow those of us on a budget the same kind of treatment a Tour Pro receives with their wide variety of stamping and fitting options coupled together with outstanding customer service definitely a company to keep your eye on. I am absolutely loving mine and can't wait to get it out on its maiden voyage Thursday.

not only is the putter itself a work of art, the customer service and buying process was also a joy, since Chip and Lee would help you perfect your putter down to every minor detail as long as you ask

i own the stainless model of the putter and it rolls beautifully on the greens, although it's less clicky than other stainless putters i own

The C&L putter is simply awesome. The first one pictured is my current gamer. In fact, I have 2 oil can C&L putters....my next putter purchase will be a C&L stainless. Purchase one of these and you will be glad you did. Great customer service, pure quality and confidence inspiring at address...they roll the ball as good as a Byron 007 and better than anything else I have ever tried! I love mine, it is the only plumbers neck i have liked..the weight is great and the putter sets up nicely. The Dark oil can finish is outstanding although i have already worn the finish off the bottom! I have the carbon version and it is the softest feeling putter i have ever rolled the ball and the milling of the face is really nice. I got rid of the iomic grip and put a blacked out pingman on, nothing wrong with the iomic i just like to try different grips..the headcover is quality and the customization options are great, i went pretty simple on mine cuz i didn't know how long it would stay in the bag but the only thing that could run this out is another c&l! The customer service was great and i can't wait to get the flowneck version with the black ox finish for my next one! Don't hesitate to buy one!!

Boy, I just traded for one this week and it really feels great. Making everything in the house on my putting green. Problem is a Barbados belly arrived at the house this week, so it goes it the bag first.

these are the best putters for feel and quality if have used in a long time

Chip & Lee are great to deal with and will accomodate every need you ask of them

i have a lovely 3 x black finsh anser style and its absolute joy to use

My next one has just been stamped in the stainless version cant wait

 

Scotty Cameron are to commercial own one of these and you will se what i mean.

I have the 3 x black finish and wish I would have got stainless or oil can. The black scratches quite easily.

 

For me the putter doesn't seem as solid as I thought it would. More putts are going in but not quite right yet. The lie angle is wrong for me so need to get that adjusted and then will see if it makes it any better.

 

The weighting is perfect though and love the heavy feel. Mis-hits are much better than my forged blade putter that I have used for 20 years but not as forgiving as I thought it would be.

 

Does anyone have the C & L with the floating face? How does that compare?

 

The search continues. Maybe itsy bitsy spider and / or one of the japanese milled next...

I can't say enough good things about mine. Distance and accuracy are much better than my Rife mallet (and I REALLY liked that putter)

Here's my c&l !! Chip usher is one great guy. He fixes and tweeks all my clubs. The putter is great! I'm very happy with it.

Just got a C&L Darl Oil and love it. Maybe six birdies my first time out with it. I love the feel it gives. IMO it is superior to anything out there.
