I just picked a Nike Sasquatch 15* 3 wood with an Aldila NV65S shaft and it is pretty nice. Im still not sure if I like it as well as the Nike T60 3 wood. That was the best 3 wood I have ever played but after I get a few more rounds in with the Sasquatch 3 wood I will be able to compare them a little better. I know it is long but seems to hit a lower ball and a little tuffer to work. Could be the shaft difference as much as anything. I will post more after more play.

In contradiction to the driver I liked the 3 wood! It was the right size for me (a little bigger) to feel comfortable with it on the tee and I hit it very well of the deck as well. This is the ideal combination. A solid 4, my V-steel is still untouchable!

I recently picked up a 4 wood Sasquatch and it really is easy to hit off the tee and turf. I have always had a hard time hitting a fw wood from the fairway and have tried numerous clubs and the SQ is the easiest so far. I bought the 4 wood 17* because I felt that the 4 wood would be a bit easier to hit than the 3 wood and not really give up that much distance.

I have a 15* SQ Fairway that I recently put in the bag, and it is a very nice club. I have a funny story about its performance. I was teeing off on a 331 yard par 4 a few days ago when I topped and shanked the tee shot with my driver because a friggin' huge a** bug flew into my face on my downswing (yes its true.) The ball went about 20 yards. I had a nice fluffy lie in the rough about 10 yards before where the actual fairway began so I pulled out my 3 wood (I was actually tempted to use the driver there, the lie was so good). I smoked it. The ball landed about 60 yards short of the green where I used my sand wedge and stuck the ball 5 feet from the pin and I putted out for par. It was definitely the best par I ever had in my life...lol. Other than that, I really haven't used the SQ 3 wood much yet on the course, except on the range where it performs admirably, nice and easy to get it up in the air. I should probably use it off the tee more, since it goes straight as an arrow. Worked for Tiger, but like everyone else, I love a nice booming tee shot with a driver, until it lands to the right in the rough.

Based on the reviews by another person on these golf boards and a demo session, I bought a Nike SQ 5 wood. I played it this weekend over 3 rounds on three different courses. It is a terrific addition to my bag. Ball typically went straight or with a slight draw and was long and fairly high. I hit it off the tee and from the fairway with very solid results.

How does the new Sasquatch Sumo sum up to the old one?

I picked up a SQ2 15-deg 3 wood with the factory diamanna shaft in x flex and love it. I have always struggled with 3 woods off the deck and this thing is great. I get a nice trajectory and fly it about 250-270 depending, and it's generally pretty straight with a slight draw. I was apprehensive to replace my v-steel but am glad I did. I still use the v-steel 5 wood (for now) but am curious how the SQ2 5 wood performs.

These are great clubs. I have the 15* 3-Wood and the 19* 5-Wood, both Nike SQ2s. I owned the old Nike SQ woods before these and the new model is a huge improvement. The first thing that i noticed is that they got rid of the alignment line. Also, the new ones seem to be a little smaller. Other than that there is no real difference in the appearance. They are sooooo straight and long it almost makes people cry. I can consistently utdrive my buddies when they hit their driver and I hit my 3 wood. I make alot of money that way. . These will be in my bag for a long time to come. Byt he way the yellow on the bottom of the shaft is not at all visible at address.

I have the SQ2 4 wood but put a vs proto 65 in it to match my driver. Higher kick point keeps the ball flight a little lower than stock (junk shaft). This club is great. Very tight dispersion and the face is hot. The dual color scheme makes the head appear even smaller...more of a players look. I hit this as far as any other 3 wood from the fairway but more conistent with 17 degrees and a shorter shaft. Highly recommend!

I have a SQ2 3 wood, stock stiff shaft at 15*. It has a great sound at impact with good trajectory and distance. I love the way this thing hits off of the fairway. I am able to hit cleaner shots off the fairway than with my T60. When i get a new shaft for this guy, he will probably be the gamer, but the stock shaft doesnt do it for me off the tee where my swing speed usually increases. Great wood and good pricing now that the square fairways came out.

u say the head on the new one is a little bit smaller, whats it like to hit out the rough, i only carry 2iron up so its got to work from everywhere.

The SQII is one great club. We all know that Tiger isn't quick to switch to new clubs when they come out. If you remember correctly, he did switch to the SQII when it came out. I found this to be odd and didn't really notice a huge difference over the SQ and therefore never gave it a chance. I went into the local shop one day and decided to try it and man was I surprised. First off, it's easier to hit than the SQ. It also feels a tad more solid. Once I got to the course, I found out real quick that it can do it all-rough, tee, and fairway. I've never been able to have a 3 wood that consistently did it all very well. Match the right shaft to it and you have a club that will be in your bag for a long time.
