anyone want to talk me out of buying an FT-5...?

i had 3 differant ft 5 drivers. first i was fitted by callaway van 9 deg stiff draw . did not work for me at all , i felt to stiff and never had good contact , second was a 10 deg netural reg shaft, i could not hit it solid and traded it in . i tried the fti 10 deg speeder shaft and OMG it was a beast . the feel and response was amazing, this club looks ugley but it hits like a frieght train. i kept the fti

i'm going to forego the new driver for this time, and work on my swing changes before i jump into a new one... when my swing is working, i hit my R5 very well anyhow... it's just the hoe in me that wants a new stick...

I'd buy the FT-3 if I were you, it's cheaper and when I tried out both a few weeks ago I didn't notice much difference between them at all. Maybe it's just my lack of a perfect swing, but they really felt similar to me and gave me the same distance. In fact I felt I could contol the direction of the shots better with the FT-3. :russian_roulette:

Oh, and Callaway Pre-owned is a great place to find new/barely used clubs for a price thats palatable.
