After going on a launch monitor, a clubfitter suggested this shaft in my Ping G10 (9 degrees and stiff). My SS is around 103 and he suggested this shaft to get my spin down to around 2,400. It was between this shaft and the Whiteboard, which did not feel as good.

I have only played 3 rounds now but all I can say is WOW! Great trajectory - medium to high. However, I get about 15-20yds of extra roll with this shaft. It also feels great thanks to the slightly softer butt.

Big Fan of the Javlnfx

I noticed it was smooth too. It really seems to deliver energy to the ball. I hit this in a d3 and it took a lot of spin off of it with a mid or mid to high trajectory. The ball got in the air, and then just bored out and took off. I was landing them a good 10 or 12 yards past my 907d2 (v2 shaft). I'm ordering this shaft in the new Cobra Pro D to take off even more spin. Great product...

edit: oh yea, and if you are a strong player concerned about the slightly high torque, don't worry. The shaft felt stable for me and I swing it 105-110. I don't know how it would play for those 115-125mph guys though.

Just got an exotics 4 wood shafted with this and it is an absolute rocket launcher. Sending out a Bridgestone 8.5* head to have shafted as well. m8 in the fairway, and m7 going into the driver. Had the Bassarra in a callaway x 3wood and never liked the trajectory on it, also in my opinion, did not get good yardage out of it. Switched to a 4 wood and the javln and absolutely love the carry and total distance. WOULD RECCOMEND THIS SHAFT 100%! F.Y.I.--I have a driver ss of close to 110, usually around 108, and absolutely love this shaft. Hopefully the j33 combo with the shaft will be shooting out frozen ropes shortly.....Hope this helps!

apologize this is not a review but more like a question. for all of you have used this shaft is it just me or this shaft have more roll compare to diamana BB. i have a diamana BB on my L4Vx and hitting it an average of about 255-260 carry but i am not getting that xtra roll on diamana BB. I reshafted my adams 3 wood 13 degreee 4060 with this shaft to try this shaft and my 3 wood is almost long like my driver plus the roll. Now before i replaced my driver shaft from diamana to javlnfx, should i get the M7 or the M6 on my driver. What do you guys have on your driver? I am using the ion diamana BB 63 x5ct on my my driver right now. Thanks

This was one of, if not the worst, shafts I have ever had the pleasure of trying. I was intrigued because according to the specs online, it played exactly like a V2 with smoother feel. Bingo! I thought to myself. Because I loved the V2 shafts.

Dead wrong. This shaft is a spin machine (I could not for the life of me get this thing to go over about 240, with a 107 SS). I used to out drive my father fairly easily, but with this shaft I was on par with him, if not shorter. Even the accuracy with this thing sucked, it would slice/hook/high/low with no rhyme or reason. Feel wasn't too bad...very smooth, almost too smooth. I got the M7 driver shaft. Yuck.

I would recommend trying this before buying for sure.

I agree 100%. I had these in two hybrids and they were not good at all. For me it was only high shots with tons of spins. No a fan. First rating below par.

My buddy just spent a ton of cash on 4 woods at clubchampion. They were all shafted with the Y5 in Stiff after being on the trackman. He has since been hitting them terrible and went to his old cobra driver. Funny I tested his old cobra stiff and the stock shafts aleast came in at 249 cpm a full flex stiffer then the overpriced JavlnFX line. I also put these on my frequency machine and all of them flex less then reg more like a senior flex. He is not hitting them well and after dropping around 1500 he's not to happy, For a stiff to flex out on a driver at 239 cpm is a joke. These shafts seem like pure junk. He was also charged $200 a piece for these 4 pieces of whatever you call them. Not sure why the trackman numbers were so good and these r so weak to flex????
